War of Emperium - September 11, 2010

When: September 11, 2010
Where: WoE1 Agits

Ragnarok guilds has a strong force that bonds each member together. Our guild Armor of God has that bond until it has been dormant for several months because of inactive guild masters. Because of inactivity most of the members had been affiliated with other guilds while others lie lowed due to real life reasons.

I came up with an idea to somehow re-lived the sweet battles of my dear guild so I tried to inform some guild members about the one time only siege. I don't really expect to get a large number of participant just like the old days because I proposed to have a self supply siege. Luckily Shadow Ace agreed to be our GM for the siege. During the actual siege we only have six active participant and three guildmates who asks for supply. Of course because of my self supply proposal these members participated for a few minutes then went offline. For the duration of the siege the fate of the guild is now in the hands of Shadow Ace, Aerin, Jaina Drei, Blur, Blitz and me.

We started the siege with full of enthusiasm and confidence. The supply didn't really matter to us because each of us can provide for ourselves even without the aid given by our guild master. Our members are more after the adrenaline and ground breaking intensity of the guild clashes rather than the supply given. On the early parts of the siege, Aerin is our star breaker on that day because he always have a sure agit in every attack he made. Somehow our guild is receiving the benefits of an imbalance one man army assassin cross breaker. All we have to do is to defend the agit. Our defense is of course very weak because of lack of members. The main defense that we have were the traps set up by Blitz, area spells from Blur, debuffs from Jaina Drei, one hit kill from Shadow Ace and support from me. As you may have notice our role is well defined and the task given to each member is crucial. One member taken out and the role is gone til he returns to the agit.

When there are attacks on the Emperium room each of us is alert on scouting and giving serious damage on the opposing guilds. Our guild could manage to defend the Agit from one to three attacking members. But for a fully packed guild we know that we don't have a chance to even retaliate. We felt the lack of members at this point because we are helpless against a large number of attackers.

Even if that's the case we were still able to continuously take over some agits thanks to Aerin's skills. Our strategy changed from attacking together on a hot agit to defend the conquered agit of Aerin. That strategy worked for us for a few times but during the last minute we had a hard time taking over some agits. In the end were close in owning an agit but we were unlucky to defend it til the War of Emperium ends. At the end of the siege we are still happy to be bonded once again even if we didn't have an agit.

Hope to see you all again guildmates.
