Overview:

Overhaul your character with a new look! Ragnarok Online features an alternative clothing as a variation with the default job class appearance. Now, we can change the color scheme of our favorite character with the aid Dye Clothing.

Quest Requirement:

New Clothing Dye Coupon - for changing to alternate clothing
Original Clothing Dye Coupon - for changing back to the default clothing

Quest Proper:

In order to dye your cloth, purchase a New Clothing Dye Coupon Box at the nearest Hypermart store. Most of the towns contains the Valkyrie NPC which carries the New Dye Coupon Box so you can purchase it at any town. Since dying of cloth is an aesthetic feature, I advise you to purchase the item during Hypermart sale only. At this time the cost of the item is reduced to 50% which is more affordable rather than purchasing it at it’s original prize. However the Dye Clothing items are rarely being sold on sale.

The New Clothing Dye Coupon purchased at the Hypermart

After purchasing the item, open the box and obtain the New Clothing Dye Coupon. Both New Clothing Dye Coupon Box and New Clothing Dye Coupon are vend-able, trade-able and kafra-able. This means that you can also purchase the item from vendors using your zeny.

The item used in changing your clothing to the alternate color

To change your cloth, locate the Stylist at three different locations in Midgard. The locations are Comodo Island, Orc Village and City of Juno. Be extra careful in going to the Orc Village because on Valkyrie Server the map is PK enabled. The exact locations are provided below.

Talk to the Stylist and a series of warnings will be given to you. The important note that he will tell you is that even if you change your clothing twice using two New Clothing Dye Coupon the sprite will be the same because we only have one alternate palettes at the moment. After choosing to dye your cloth it will automatically changed to the alternate palette. Congratulations!

The color patterns have changed!

If by chance, you want to have the original clothing back you still can! However you will be purchasing the Original Clothing Dye Coupon Box. The box contains the Original Clothing Dye Coupon which will be used bye the Stylist to change your clothing back. Talk to the Stylist again and choose Restore original color. Now you have your original clothing back. Congratulations!

Use the Original Clothing Dye Coupon to revert the color of your clothing

During November 27, 2013 patchnotes, the second alternate palette has been released. Another Stylist NPC has been released at the Premium Hypermart providing the original, first alternate and second alternate cloth. The other Stylist NPCs are still in their respective areas but they don't provide the second alternate cloth.
