Overview:
Alchemist class has been the job class for research and experimentation in the world of Ragnarok Online. With the arrival of their third job class Genetic, they have been gifted further on creating new materials from other materials. But the right formulas are not given so they have to be discovered.

How To Change Material:
Only Genetics with the skill Change Material can perform the transformation of raw materials into something new. The skill doesn't have any prerequisites so you can get it from the very start.
Change Material from the skill list
A pop up window appears when you use the skill. There will be two windows on your screen. On the left side are the convertible items or the raw materials to be used. On the right side is a space for the items that you want to convert.
Change Material window
Drag the material/s that you like to transform then press trade. If the convertion is unsuccessful the raw materials are not consumed. But if the convertion is successful the raw materials are consumed and gives you the resulting product. However, there are specific formulas which has a chance to fail. Meaning the convertion is successful but the creation of the resulting product is not successful.

how come it's not working for me? :( i've tried so many of these... am i missing anything?
Try converting using the one ingredient first and see if you can convert. if you are using the two combination or three combination try placing the ingredients in correct order. Someone said that ingredient placement is also a factor in the conversion.
Ive tried the tsurugi one.. and Ive tried putting the two combinations in order.. it still won't work :(
Are you playing in an official server? because as far as I know all official servers had these feature

somebody already discovered the combination for Empty Bottles. He's just not that generous to share it even we're friends. He showed it to me while doing it but he blocked the window where he put the ingredient/s so I did not saw what he put in the window.

You must place the exact amount of items listed above.
The placement of the items also matters so menacles first then Feather of Birds.
If it is still not working then probably you are playing on a p.server!

does everyone know how to convert oridecon or rough oridecon?
it seems that every alchemist class player is cravin for empty bottle formula. here in idro, we're so hopelessly eager to seek for that formula too. the npc doesn't sell empty bottle and monsters don't drop either.
the cheapest rate for an empty bottle on idro is 5,000 zeny.
here in pRO they already brought back the NPC which sells the empty bottles but has different price per server depending on its economy. in pRO Valkyrie it is worth 25k each. it is also available on our hypermart incase you don't have enought to zeny to purchase one.
ic...but at least that's a relief. here on idro, empty bottle can't be found anywhere. no npc no monster able to drop. so our only hope here is the change material formula for empty bottle.
by the way, thanx for posting those formulas. i've bookmarked it on my browser :D
Actually that's also our situation for about 7months I think. But the community started a thread on our official boards demanding for its come back. our efforts paid off and they brought back the NPC.
Before there are a lot of claims that they know the empty bottle formula but none of them actually provide those formulas until now that they are available again. I guess everything is just a false claim.

Hi mister from brazil. The formula for Detonator is part of a list of formulas before but it's not 100% accurate. It still needs confirmation. Someone tested it and proved it didn't work so I made a strike through to make it visible that it is not working. However there is no formula that might replace this one.

Sorry but we no one in our server knows about the empty bottle formula.
Before we have similar problem on where to get empty bottles but pRO provided us with an NPC that sells empty bottles.
Maybe you can request idRO to do the same.
