Renewal Sealed Shrine Attempt

Sealed Baphomet Shrine has not been an attracting instance dungeon to us. The dungeon houses the Great Baphomet which drops the Cursed Baphomet Doll an essential ingredient in making Large Baphomet Horns. Even with the promise of rare item and low dungeon cool down, the drop rate of the Cursed Baphomet Doll is low and has a low market value now. But because we have failed on the Nidhoggur's Nest during that day we shifted our attention into this dungeon.

Generating our instance for the Sealed Shrine

Our team for this run is composed of four members namely an Archbishop, a Genetic and two Sura. One Sura will act as tank, the other will be our killer, the Genetic will be the mob control and the Archbishop will be our only support.

Finishing the first floor tasks

As we enter the dungeon, we immediately performed the first floor tasks. We look for the Pendant then collected 10 Essence of Fire and 1 Token of Apostle for each team member. The difficulty that we have on the room is killing ghost property monsters like the Flame Skull. If you'll notice on our line up, we don't have a character that could handle ghost monsters with ease. Going up to the second floor of the dungeon

After finishing the tasks we went up the 2nd floor of the dungeon to face the Great Baphomet. We stayed on our position for quite sometime while we prepare for the battle. We also have discussions on our strategies for this task. We don't expect a perfect execution for our battle but we want to succeed on this attempt for pride's sake.

Preparing for the battle

We walk and passed through the surprising mob at the doorway going to the altar without casualties. We positioned ourselves in such a way that our support is far enough not be seen by Great Baphomet and that the damagers are not too far away from the tanker with the MVP. And we ensure that our set up will place the MVP under the seal to make him vulnerable. This will be the first time that we will be battling the Great Baphomet head on.

The battle starts!

Our party leader began to summon the Great Baphomet at the altar. When the global message indicates that he'll be coming out, we assumed the position that we planned earlier. Our tank successfully lured the MVP on the seal. I take out the mob through Card Cannon. I also tried using Acid Bomb too but to my surprise the damage of Cart Cannon is far better option so I stick to that strategy. Our main damage dealer began releasing Extremity Fist one after the other. On the mid part of the battle we began to feel the power of the Great Baphomet as we fall one by one.

We had a lot of regrouping and re-set up on this run while ensuring that the MVP is within the seal. In the end we succeeded in defeating the Great Baphomet but wasted a lot of consumables. In addition, the loot drops that we have has little value on the market. We then conclude that our experience with the Sealed Shrine Dungeon is not worth it.
