Ragnarok Online Europe also known as euRO has come to its end. I found a video posted at ragnaboards capturing the last moments of the players who bid good bye to their servers. The servers of euRO has shut down last September 30, 2010 because they failed to renew their license with Gravity Inc. From what I've read euRO players will be transferring to Ragnarok Online France (fRO). I have no idea with the legalities of their transfer but it's so sad for their part to say good bye to their dear server. For additional info you can read the iRO wiki forums.
While I'm watching the video a lot of memories suddenly flashed back. The background music "Streamside" made it even more touching because it's the first field BGM that you will hear during the beta days of pRO. I'm touched with the video because it shows the last good byes of the players with their dear server together with their friends, guildmates and even strangers.

So Kapag nang yari sa pRO yan, what about the Money that was spent upon the game ? Ma Rerefund kaya ?
I don't know kung ano ang plans ng mga GM natin kung nangyari yan.
Pero most probably ndi yan marerefund kasi napakinabangan mo naman na yung niload mo sa game.
So, your saying kapag ng buy ako ng sabihin nating, 15k worth of items, So if the pRO shuts down. Wasted din yun ? DI kaya unfair yun kuya ?
Kung ang sinasabi mo is pagloload ng 15k php para maging ROK points then fair lang sa pRO na hindi ka macompensate. Kasi ginamit mo naman yung ROK pambili ng virtual items sa hypermart para sa mga characters mo. Ang pagbili ng virtual item sa hypermart is similar din sa pagbili mo ng mga gamit sa real world. So pagnagsara ang pRO tingin ko fair lang sa kanila na hindi tayo bigyan ng compensation kasi nakuha naman natin yung product nila which is entertainment.

nkakalungkot ngang isiping someday matatapos din ang masasayang araw sa pRO pero ang importante naman dun ay ang enjoyment na naibigay nito mula pa nung unang umapak ang mga paa ng kauna-unahang filipino novice sa training grounds, mga kaibigang nakilala, mga kaaway na naka-trash talk-kan na eventually naging tropa in-game, mga eyeballs, mga pagtitiyaga para makapag-load ng game time nuon hanggang sa rok points ngaun, mga ala-alang babaunin natin hanggang pagtanda
peo im still hoping na malaro pa ng mga magiging apo ko ang larong kinabaliwan q nuon mgpahanggang ngaun :)
about sa mga comments nyo dun sa mga ginastos na libo libo, you should have read first the terms and conditions particularly EULA(End User License Agreement) that has been flashed on your browser when you first log in your myLU account. :)
madaming magaganda at mga pangit na experiences ang pinagdaanan [natin or ko] sa pRO. kaya kahit gumastos man tayo ng napakaraming pera, sulit parin, kumbaga sa inuman, mas madaming gastos, mas marap na pulutan at madaming beer ang maiinom, mas masaya. :)
malas ng mga nag CnR ...buti n lang hndi ako nag CnR kahit isang beses kahit noon pa hahhahahaha..raydric lang ang payaman ko at buy and sell sa ngayun +12 na lahat equips hahahaha

Ang mga CnR at Php boys ang dahilan kung bakit buhay pa din ang pRO. Karamihan ng mga CnR and Php boys ay young professionals with stable jobs. ;)

its their own choice para gumastos.
i cant see anything wrong sa gngwa nila.
they have the capability, thats their own money.
whether they use their money in their hobbies is their choice.

ung iba lagi nagmamalaki na di daw naglo-load. ( to think na nbubuhay ang pRO dahil sa mga loaders na yan.)
pero kung gumastos naman sa ibang bisyo nila wagas.
edi ur still on the same boat. mpa-anong klaseng bisyo or amount.
naglo-load ako dati lalo na nung panahon na umpisa plang ang ragna (remember 50php = 8hrs? :3).
im proud of it na nkatulong ako kahit papano sa pag stay alive ng server.
then decided to quit middle of trans job then try to play again in 3rd job. ibang iba ang atmosphere pero mkikita mong buhay pren ang ragna.
pero di ako nagtagal sa 3rd job since (i admit it, im one of those who is disappointed in massive CnR's ang msaklap ilang beses isang linggo).
di ko lang tlga kayang putulin ang lubid na kumokonekta saken sa ragna.
kea time to time, ntingin ako ng updates lalo na sa future updates.
ragna is my first mmo.
i will not play for now pero babalik ako,
naniniwala akong kaya ng pRO lampasan yan at mkikita ko pa ang pRO after 5~10 years more.
