Overview:
Renewal has been around for a while now. The game masters finally decided to release a free stat reset due to the clamor from the community. Renewal made a lot changes in Ragnarok which includes the effectiveness of stats.
Free Stat Reset available on the first weeks of Renewal
Availability:
The feature is available from October 20, 2010 to November 2, 2010.
Made it's come back from March 23, 2011 to April 13, 2011.

Quest Requirement:
Shard of Odin – for 2nd time until 7th time stat resetQuest Proper:
The Great Alchemist is providing a reset to adventurers who needs to change their builds. He is located at the upper part of Prontera near the Statue of hands shaking.

When you talk to him you have the option to listen to the directions or to proceed with the Stat Reset. If you choose to listen to the directions, he will enumerate the things you need to accomplish in order to have a successful stat reset.

The first stat reset is free however succeeding stat reset will need Shards of Odin. The number of shards needed depends on the level of the character being reset. The stat reset is allowed up to 7 times but each time you reset the number of needed shards increases. Also there is a 20 hour cool down with each reset.

Other important things to note is that your weight must be literally 0 not 0%. Carts and mounts like Peco peco and Gryphons must be removed. For Geneticist, the weight of the cart must be 8000 or below before turning it off. When everything is ready, all of your stats will be reset. Congratulations!

Are you referring to the Stat Reset NPC?
From what the NPC said it will be available until November 10, 2010 only.
If your planning to avail the free stat reset then do it before maintenance this week.
Please another time we need it back again or else give the other chance on Hypermart plsss

basta po +1 ng +1. Kung yung 2nd time mo 4shards yung 3rd time mo 5shards na. kung mag 4th time ka pa 6shards na.

seasonal lang ang stat reset. na avail sya through hypermart pag available na yung shards of odin.

Is the initial free stat reset exclusive to one character? Meaning, each of my characters gets one free stat reset? :/
Yep that's right. all characters has 1 free stat.
so all your characters are entitled to have 1 free stat reset.
but this NPC is not available all the time.
just watch for it on our weekly patchnotes if they'll releasing it again.
