Enchantment has been popular to Ragnarok Online since renewal. It is a feature where in selected gears can be imbued with a stat that will make it a little more powerful. And now Malangdo has opened its doors for the Weapon enchantment.
Enchantable Weapons:
A complete list of information can be found from iROwiki for your referrence. I will only present process on how to enchant weapons in a pRO perspective.
How to Enchant:
Go to Malangdo Island from any town in Rune Midgard with an NPC that looks like a cat. In Payon, the name of the cat is Dolangmal. He is standing at the Payon tables near the Kafra area.
Upon arriving at the island, locate Mayo Mayo at the middle right of the map. It will be a little bit hard to find him because of the thick vegetation in the area. If you see the two box NPCs then you are in the right tract
There are a lot of ways to get Coins for enchanting but the easiest way is to buy it from the hypermart. Click the small icon near the mini map where the convenient hypermart is located. Find the item Silverine Box 10 and purchase 1.
Open the box and you will receive 10pcs of Silverine Fruit and some Malang SP Can. You will only be needing the 10pcs Silverine Fruit.
Convert the 10 Silverine Fruit to 26 Grade A coins from Coin Exchanger CX-1. The Grade A coins will be used for enchanting your weapon.
Equip the weapon that you want to enchant and Talk to MayoMayo. There will be 3 options to choose from namely Short distance type, Long distance type and Caster type. Each type has different set of random stats that can be imbued to your weapon.
Congratulations you have enchanted your equipment!
From observation most adventurers go for either caster type for the spell enchantment which increases magic attack and reduces variable cast time or short distance type for fighting spirit which increases attack and hit.
The enchantment is random so it won't be easy to get your desired stat. Though you can always reset your enchantment using 1 silverine fruit if you don't like the enchant. With this mechanic only the cost of silverine fruit will stop you from re-enchanting.

2. pag nagbura ka lahat ng enchant mawawala. hindi pwedeng piliin lang yung tatangalin.
tradable ung silverine fruit? at pra san ung malang sp can, save point? prng insyd out shirt? thx in advnz
Yung silverine fruit hindi yata tradeable pero nakakafra. Yung Malang SP can naman pwede mo itrade sa malangdo para sa rental weapons at pwede rin syang parang inside out shirt

ung sa iro site weapons ung nakalagay. also pwde din ba i-enchant ung mga gamit na mora equips? lastly kung man pwde ienchant ung mora equips pag inalis mo ung malangdo enchant sasama din ba ung enchant na nailagay mo galing sa mora?

RWC rings enchant sa premium hypermart yung NPC nun.
alam ko na enchant ang mora equips pero sa mora lang din.
ang malangdo enchant panay weapon lang ang na eenchant dun at mukhang wlang mora equips na kasama na enchantable weapon

ilang coins po ang nacoconsume kada enchant? di ko po kasi maintindihan yung base cost and multiplier na nakalagay sa iro wiki. ><

si herbert pano yung process sa pag alis ng enchant kakainis kase yung int+2 pero yung isang enchant spell4LV =)
kailangan mo ng 1 silverine fruit tapos pareset mo dun sa same NPC. pag nagreset yan lahat ng enchant tatangalin nya as in magiging clean na yung weapon mo.

I'm a returning player and I've been reading your blog for the longest time. I've searched all over the internet and realized that the best thing for me to do to learn is to ask you (well, next to experience it myself lol). Anyway, may two questions po ako:
1) Will the upgrade level of the weapon reset if my Malangdo enchant succeeds/fails?
2) What will happen to the cards in the weapon? Deleted? Retained?
3) Where, in pRO, can I get the "MVP Card Remover"?
Thanks in advance. Your answer will save me from spending a good amount of money just to try this feature. :)

I haven't tried the first two on your question. But from what I know you should enchant first then upgrade then place a card. So there is a big possibility that the cards and upgrades will be reset.
For the last question, It is being sold at the hypermart before but as of now I cannot find it. But I can tell you that it is very expensive.

Here's my annswer to your questions:
1. No, hindi affected ang refine level sa enchantment at walang chance na magfail yung enchant. :)
2. Retained, kahit ireset mo yung enchant. Nothing will happen to the card and upgrade level. I tried it many times with my +12 AK HF. :)
3. You can only remove the MVP cards from Upper Headgear, ARMOR, GARMENT, and SHOES. You can only remove the MVP Cards if you have a Sillit Pong. Makukuha mo yung Sillit Pong kapalit ng 400 Silverine fruits, which means P1000 worth of rok points. :D But I'm not sure kung may failure yun, I haven't tried pa kasi. hehe

Hi sir Herbert, ano po ang max enchant per weapon slot? I heard kasi na pag 3 slots, 1 enchant lang. Pero the rest of the slots, Im not sure ano ang max. Like 2 slot, 1 Slot and no slot kung ano max number of enchants
Sa pagkaka-alam ko depends yun sa weapon na ipa-enchant mo. may limit kasi sya per specific weapon. may weapons na 1 enchant lang yung iba 2 enchant. for example yung combat knife 2 enchant na sya talaga. hindi na pede maging 3 enchant
