Card Desocket

Overview:

Having a high valued equipment with a bad card or High valued card on poor mans equipment can still be saved. Adventurers can avail this service to separate the compounded card from the equipment anytime.

Quest Requirement:

• Ordinary Card - 5% success rate
• 100,000z 
• Boss Card / Mini Boss Card - 20% success rate
• 1,000,000z
• 1pc Ordinary Lubricant

How to Desocket:

Locate Card Remover at the right room of Eden room. He looks like a doctor standing.

Before starting, see to it that the item that you need to desocket should be equipped by your character. Talk to Card Remover and select the equipment that you want to desocket

Upon selecting, the card slots to desocket will be displayed. Choose the card slot to desocket. If desocket fails both Card and Equipment are preserved. Only the zeny and lubricant is consumed. If successful, you get both Card and Equipment.

Notes:

• Ordinary Lubricant is a Kafra Shop item
• Boss Card are all boss tagged monsters including MVP and mini boss cards
• For weapons with multiple card slot, you will need to desocket per card slot
• Items to desocket are updated regularly to add Lucky Scroll items
• This is a zeny drain NPC in which you can try endlessly until you succeed as long as you have zeny to spend

Comments:

A good designed NPC which provides a sought after service and at the same time a zeny drain. The high cost of the service will prevent the abuse of mindless descoket to any equipment. The service will always be a priority to High value card or High value equipment since you want them to be preserved and most of the time hard to replace.
