Kafra Warp Changes

Overview:
ROPH is crowded on all popular maps since its launche. Prontera City, the traditional market place of Ragnarok Online, is not exempted from being too populated. People struggle to move around the city and jump from one city to another without passing through Prontera. As a solution ROPH implemented Kafra Warp Changes.

ROPH has a grand plan to de-congest Prontera City since it is very much populated at this point. Most players and merchants flock the city since this is the best one stop shop area. Adventurers planning to travel from north cities to south cities and vise versa will always pass through Prontera city. So the load of adventurers are all concentrated in Protera city. Below are the Kafra Warp Changes to help ease ease the traffic on the city.

Save Point Changes:
ROPH has posted the full details of the changes on the July 12, 2017 Patch Notes. In summary all adventurers saving in Prontera will respawn on a pre-determined location. Below are the spawn location when saving on Prontera Kafra.

  • North Kafra - spawn on Geffen
  • East Kafra - spawn in Geffen
  • West Kafra - spawn in Izlude
  • South Kafra - spawn in Payon

Warp Update:
This is NOT in the patch notes but I have observed that aside from the save point changes ROPH implemented additional warp options on certain cities in Rune Midgard.  I believe this is still part of the plan to reduce the traffic going in and out of Prontera City.

  • Payon - added warp to Morroc, Geffen and Izlude

  • Morroc - added warp to Geffen and Izlude

  • Izlude - added warp to Prontera but cheaper

  • Geffen - added warp to Morroc, Izlude and Payon

Conclusion:
The traffic on Prontera City somehow was reduced however nearby cities has shared the burden of having a crowded market. Now Geffen, Izlude, Morroc and Payon has developed its own big market. On the other hand Alberta has developed the freebies market where in people tend to sell their freebies on this area.
