Lucky Scrolls with Boss Cards

Overview:
Lucky Scrolls are hypermart items which contains a pre-defined list of prizes. Each time you open a scroll you will surely be rewarded with an item based on the listed items. However the item to be received has chances just like opening an OBB, OVB or OCA. Rare items will be harder to get and common items will be easier to get. So consider opening a Lucky Scroll a Gamble. It all depends on real life luck.

The global announcement of rare items received by players started when pRO released Lucky Scrolls with epic rare boss cards. From what I observed before, the GMs are being accused of releasing these promising Lucky Scrolls but none of the players receive the rare items from these scrolls like boss cards. I think to prove these notion wrong they implemented the "Lady Luck" global message

Training Grounds - Side Quests

Overview:

Training grounds has been upgraded to be more newbie friendly. The area now caters more on introducing the basics of the game which includes the navigation, interface, common NPCs, gears, how to battle and a lot more. One of the improvements that I noticed on the training grounds is the addition of Side Quests. It very easy and rewarding quests for newbies.

Patch Notes: April 27, 2011

The patchnotes are up just in time for lunch! And our good times has ended. Experience rates are back to normal. There are no special events this time.

Agit ownership and economy has been reset because as you all know Agit Lords has ended already. So our WoE scene is back to normal. It was a very quick but intensified Agit Lords for all of us. I really love the action pack siege brought by these once in a year event. And also the boss cards, mini-boss cards and godlies are enabled again.

Now for New Loki, they will have their first WoE this sunday. I'm not really familiar with the current set up of the server because I'm not playing there. Also they have infuse additional 3 game servers to support New Loki. I guess this server is rapidly increasing in population and needs additional server support. If you have played on that server you may want to answer my poll on the right side bar.

pRO has taken step to wipe all stuck area maps again. But I'm not really positive with this steps because I know players will be creative enough to bring back these memo areas. Nonetheless its a nice action for the GMs. Hope they have a ready-to-run script for these and maybe they can do this every week to discourage players from using memo on these maps.

I also forgot to mention that there is an event called Take Out the Fire. The event is simply for the summer season in the country. The prize for the event is not enticing considering the effort to be exerted with the loots needed. I don't want to give a false excitement so the prize is Saphien's Armor of Ocean [1]. The item has been previously released through a CnR or Happy Hour so I'm not sure if anyone will be interested to join the event.

Last on the list is hypermart sale. Okay so every week we have a sale but the catch for these week is the come back of Devil Scroll which has a chance to give Devilling Card. Good Luck gambling.

Training Grounds - Manual Accessories

Overview:
Ragnarok Online welcomes adventurers on a place called Training Grounds. It is where all players starts up as a Novice Class. The contents of the training grounds has been upgraded to accommodate newbies and to help players have a little taste on what's store for them in Midgard. The training grounds will let you learn the basics of playing Ragnarok Online.

Patch Notes: April 20, 2011

I'm surprised that our patchnotes are consistently posted early. Good Job to our hard working GM Team. And guess what they are throwing away a Modified Experience! Its a good chance to grind again because we have a very long holiday ahead.

Agit Lords on the otherhand is over! Congratulations to all the winners and good luck for the upcoming 7on7 match ups. Based on my unofficial tally for the Agit Lords Valkyrie Server, our Honor Points winners are Kingdom of Justice and Prestige while our Siege Points winners are Lost Command, Genocide, illuminati-2 and Foreign Exchange.

For the game updates, there is nothing special aside from the modified experience. There are bug fixes, new loading screens and removal of stat reset NPC.

Hypermart is still on sale. Neuralizer our Skill Reset item is on sale. Gym Pass the skill which gives additional weight limit is also on sale. Grab them now if you need them. They are very helpful on your character's efficiency.

Unofficial Agit Lords Scoring as of April 18, 2011

The second phase of the agit lords scoring has officially started last March 30, 2011. I aim to keep track of the scores of our respective guilds in Valkyrie server for reference. I just have to re-iterate that this is not an official siege scoring and only the game masters of pRO can declare the official agit standings. Official mechanics of this years Agit Lords is posted in the Unified Forums.

kRO Sakray's Renewal Skill Balance

kRO Sakray has released a big patch this week regarding skill balancing for third jobs. The skill balancing includes most of the job classes that haven't received any updates since the start of renewal in Sakray. The information are taken from the kRO patchnotes for this week. The one posted on my site is the translated skill balance from iRO wiki.

I believe that I'm obliged to present to you this changes because it will affect our current and future builds. I have no idea when will this huge patch reach our official servers but definitely it reach us anytime soon. We definitely need this balances as soon as possible.

I'm hoping that this balances will bring light on using third jobs for the RWC 2011 matches. But we don't know what Gravity plans for the most anticipated Ragnarok World Championship. Lets just wait and see. Read the rest of the post after the break.
