Note: The quest has been implemented from September 6, 2017 to September 20, 2017
Overview:
Hunting rare items is a tedious task. We are able to gather a lot of not so marketable loots before we even get a single rare item. September Monster Hunt Quest wants to create more value on these regular loots. Adventurers can now trade-in regular loots into a chance to get a Wanderer's Sakkat.
Quest Proper:
Locate Master Hunter in Alberta. She is wearing a rouge attire at the lower mid part of the map. She's near Gimulet, the Cool Event NPC, where players can claim their rewards.
Talk to her and she will present with the an option to start a quest or quest report. Select the first option since we are still starting with our quest.
She'll then tell us to pick a quest. In actual, players can't really pick the quest they want. She will randomly assign a quest for you.
In my case, she gave me the quest to hunt for Hodes. Using Alt + U, you can check the specifics of the quest. The quest says I'll need to provide 50,000 zeny + 50 Earthworm Peeling to finish the quest.
Possible quest options are the following:
I used my thief for hunting because he has the "Steal" skill which makes item gathering a lot faster. It saves a lot of hunting time since you get the item from steal and another from monster drop.
Once you have gathered the quest materials, go back and talk to the Master Hunter. She will then present you the two options. Choose the Quest Report option to tell her that you managed to finish gathering the materials.
She'll then verify that you have the complete materials. Once verified you will be given a random reward. Congratulations! You are done with the quest.
Note: The quest can be repeated as long as you have the requirements..
Rewards:
The Wanderer's Sakkat as a top prize is really a rare item since it can only be obtained through this quest. Other rewards includes Food Buffs, Potion Box, Manuals and Buff Scrolls. Master Hunter will give you one of the following rewards once you finish the quest.
Comments:
The quest is very easy because the number of loots needed is small. However the cost of participating the quest is expensive as compared to the prizes on the list. If you have a lot of spare zeny you can aim for the top prize Wanderer's Sakkat. But if you don't have the money then it is better to use it on something else.
