Bakonawa Dungeon - 2nd Attempt

Overview:
Bakonawa dungeon is one of the three instance dungeon introduced during the Port Malaya patch. The dungeon will unfold the legent behind the mythical creature Bakonawa. Bakonawa drops ingredients which can be used to create a Bakonawa Tattoo. The dungeon has 5 days cool down inorder to re-enter.

The Cast:
Rian called me for an an adventure over and I agreed to accompany him as a support. He wanted to have a Bakonawa adventure because he aims to create the tattoo. He explained to me that he will take all the possible roles in the dungeon while I will be his dungeon guide and support. And so we went for an adventure without calling other friends to join in.

  • Herbie Boy a Sorcerer - Striking, Land Protect support and Dungeon Guide
  • My name is Rian a Royal Guard - MVP killer and Gong killer

The Adventure:
We traveled to Port Malaya and reached Bakonawa lake on the adjacent map. We see to it that we are carrying the basic MVP adventure needs such as Potions, gems, emergency Token of Zeigfried and MVP equipments. There are no special preparation for the MVP as long as you have a high damage to take him down and lots of potions to spare for massive attacks.

We triggered the instance dungeon at the lake. Once the instance is created for us, we entered the dungeon and performed our self buffs. We immediately rush at the base of the lake to confront Bakonawa while carefully laying my Land Protect. It took us few steps towards the base of the lake and few minutes to attack him until he moved to the middle of the lake.

This is the sign that we need to make noisy sounds with the gong located at each sides of the lake. In actual we are destroying the gongs with plant type property. I'm still continuously laying my Land Protect because there are spirits at the sides which are showering Meteor Storms on us. The rain of Meteors is so painful that I need to neutralize it with my walking Land Protect. When all the gongs were taken down, Bakonawa re-appears at the base of the lake.

Now, this is the start of the showdown between Bakonawa and Rian. I still have my Land Protect on the ground while I gave Rian a damage boost from Striking. I then watch Rian smash his mighty spear using Banishing Point at Bakonawa until it was beaten dead. Yes! we are successful on our run. Though the drops are not that enticing.

Comments:
Our successful two man party on the dungeon proves that this is an easy dungeon. As long as you have a Land Protect for the shower of Meteors, a powerful damage equips for the MVP killing and high attack speed for the gongs, you will surely succeed on finishing the dungeon. Also on this run, I only have contributed to the laying of Land Protect and the rest of the work is performed by Rian. With Detale carded Armor, Rian can solo this dungeon without a doubt. Land Protect plays an important role on the dungeon because we need to neutralize the Meteor Storm damage being showered by the Spirits while we are killing Bakonawa.

kahit anong level ng magnetic earth ok lang kasi ang need mo lang naman ay protected ka sa mga AOE spells pag kinakalaban mo na si bakonawa.
