Patch Notes: April 12, 2012

Patchnotes are up and Modified Experience is over.

The bigger news is  New Loki will be undergoing what they call Rebirth. On this process all zeny in-game will be wiped out. Mastela fruit seller will be disabled and some NPC prices will be adjusted. I'm quite shock with these news because this is the first time in pRO history that they have implemented zeny wipe. I'm not sure what was happening in New Loki to deserve this. With all honesty I don't want to see my server Valkyrie to undergo the same fate. Even if we have a messed up economy the overflowing zeny makes our WOE fuelled with supply. Which kinda make our WOE intense. Hahaha maybe I'm too selfish and focus more on the war and not on the impact on the market. But then again newbies can easily catch up with veterans with just a few bucks spent for a very yummy CnR and HH. Most high end gears even upgrades are provided there. This set up fits casual gamers, newbies who wants to catch up easily but is willing to spend money and veterans as well.

Then we have the re occuring quest called clean up the beach where you can get Beach sandals and Beach manteau. The rock paper scissor NPC was also updated but I don't think this gambling event is getting some customers.

Last on my list is New Iris having their first WOE. Good luck to all guilds aiming for the top place. And enjoy the bitter sweet experience of WOE. Read the rest of the patch after the break.


PHILIPPINE RAGNAROK ONLINE APRIL 12 PATCH NOTES
Maintenance will start at 7:30am and will end at approximately 5:00pm

I. PATCH SIZE: Approximately 6MB

II. GAME UPDATES:

• Deactivate the modified EXP:
  • NEW CHAOS SERVER (PAY TO PLAY SERVER): From 3EXP to 1EXP
  • NEW IRIS/NEW LOKI/VALKYIRE/VALHALLA (FREE TO PLAY SERVERS): From 3EXP to 1.5EXP
• Update Loading Screen (ALL SERVERS except SAKRAY)
• Update Log-in Screen (NEW LOKI SERVER only)
• Deactivate the following:
  • STAT RESET NPC (ALL SERVERS)
  • EASTER EVENT NPC (ALL SERVERS)
  • DONITA AND LIGAYA (NEW LOKI SERVER only)
  • FIREWORKS DISPLAY (NEW LOKI SERVER)
  • GREAT BAPHOMET TOMB SEAL QUEST (NEW IRIS SERVER only)
• Patch the following events:
  • Clean up the beach event (ALL SERVERS)
• Update the following in-game events:
• ROCK , PAPER, SCISSORS NPC (ALL SERVERS)
• Ranger Job Change Quest (NEW IRIS)
• Implement 1st phase of NEW LOKI SERVER REBIRTH PROGRAM: CLICK ME
  • Delete all zenny in-game (Server wide)
  • Deactivate Mastela Fruit NPC Vendor located at Hugel
  • Revise selling price of certain items
• Activate of WAR OF EMPERIUM - NEW IRIS SERVER:
  • NEW SCHEDULE FOR WOE 2: Sunday (06:00PM - 08:00PM), Tuesday (08:00PM - 10:00PM)
  • NEW SCHEDULE FOR WOE 1: Friday (08:00PM - 10:00PM)
