Player Feedback

Here is another round of feedback that I've got in-game. I have collected a lot for this post because I wasn't able to compose a post for the feedback for a long time. I'm quite busy with life priorities lately so I wasn't able to post regularly. Even though this is the case I hope you still support my blog.

A big and warm thanks to all of you who still visits my blog regularly. I hope you're getting the answers to your inquiries on my site. I'm happy to help you regarding info about the game.

If you want to drop some messages feel free to visit me in Alberta Hagdan near the the Hypermart NPC. Please don't ask questions there because most of the time I'm AFK. P.S. Please don't bug me with the Change Material formula for Empty Bottle because I don't have the answer for that. I don't know the plans of our GMs with regards to this issue but they made a statement on the forums that they will surely make Empty Bottles available in-game again.

Nidhoggur's Nest Visit

Overview:
It's been a while since Angel and I had an adventure on the remote dungeon of Nidhoggur's Nest. Before, we have been farming Nidhoggur's Shadow for his Piece of Angent Skin [1]. We've been exploring this dungeon on duo since then. We still do farm it  but not as often as before because of life priorities plus the easy access of the said item on CnR promos. Our adventure on this dungeon only lasts for a few minutes because  we are already familiar with the dungeon mechanics. Patch Notes: May 25, 2011

The patchnotes are early today! Its a good news because we have a Modified Experience this week. All servers will have x3 experience even for New Chaos. Put on your gears now and lets all enjoy the benefits of faster leveling up.

The Treasure Box item permission and price has been changed for Valhalla. This means that only New Loki and Valkyrie server are the ones left with having a Treasure box with 1z selling price. I hope that they will soon change the permission for Valkyrie because I have a stock of Treasure Boxes.

Midgard Rebellion Siege Event is still on going in each server. The GMs made a lot of twist this time! The schedule for WOE1 has been changed to be 2 times a week while WOE2 is change to 1 time. This indicates that there will be more points to be given away until the end of the event. The point requirement for the Tao Gunka Card has been made a little easier because of this twist. Aside from that, all godly items are disabled during the duration of the siege but boss cards are still usable. That means most guild masters will still have the advantage of doing the usual Cloak + Emergency Call. Well lets see what  will happen on this siege series.

Hypermart is definitely on sale because of the modified experience. What caught my attention is the premium offering for New Loki with empty bottle boxes of 100 and 500pcs. Are they implying now that F2P servers will be forced to buy Empty Bottles now in order to gain the benefits of this item? Does this mean that a newbie player who wants to job change into a Crusader or Sage is required to shed some of their money just to create this class? My stand on this Empty Bottle issue is to make this item available in-game without the use of ROK points. A daily quest for this item would be a great idea but if the GMs are afraid of bot farmers then maybe you could make a weekly quest? Then make empty bottle one of the rewards.

Lastly on the list that caught my eyes are the bulk boxes for Acid Bomb Boxes, Poison Bottles and Fish Slice Boxes. From what I remember correctly these items are player's requests on the forums and I'm happy that they have listened to this one.

Eden Group

Overview:
Eden group is a secret organization that aids adventurers in their young life in Midgard. You need to register on the organization before you are considered a member. The Eden group provide assistance depending on your current level. However you need to successfully perform the task handed to you in order to receive their rewards.

kRO Sakray's Renewal Skill Balance - Part 2

kRO Sakray has released another big patch this week regarding skill balancing for third jobs. The skill balancing includes major balancing on some classes and minor changes on some. The information was taken from the kRO patchnotes for this week. The one posted on my site is the translated skill balance from iRO wiki.

This will be the second big balancing patch applied on kRO Sakray. Ranger and Mechanics has received a major update on this patch most of which are buff on their class.

I really hope that the balancing patches will come steadily. I also hope that it will reach our main servers soon so that we will have a more balance environment. At this point everyone is already adopting to the current specifics of renewal. This changes surely affect everyone. Patch Notes: May 18, 2011

The patchnotes are up and just in time before lunch. As a summary of the patchnotes only New Loki players will be busy this week and as for the other servers it will be the normal life as always.

Just like what I've projected most of the upcoming events and promos are now being focused on New Loki server. For this week they will be having a Crowd Control Event for Glast Heim. If old players can recall this is the first crowd control event implemented on commercial servers. The task is to earn kill counts of a target monster and when you reach a certain number of kill counts you will redeem it with badges. The badges will be earned to get Siege Headgears which is much useful on the War of Emperium.

At this point I would like to thank GM Aeon for the special citation on my crowd control experience added on the patchnotes. You'll see it after the break. The one used been linked on the patch notes on the can be found on my Multiply site but I would prefer if they have used my Blogspot site as a link. But that doesn't really matter since they have the same contents. I have transfered most of my write ups from Multiply to Blogspot and I'm more active here now.

We also have another week of deleting memos on stuck areas. I'm not really rooting for this because after this maintanance there will always be memos around again. Thanks for the effort. The memo wipe on those maps will only spare us for a day or two I guess. People always have ways to abuse things.

New Chaos has received a restored value for Treasure Box which has been proven abused last time but it cannot be dropped or placed in kafra. I do hope that even F2P servers will receive this restored version with the same trade options. Having a treasure box dropped by MVPs, rare spawn monsters and agit treasure box is really pointless at this time. Treasure box is valued because of its selling price. It was designed to reward players to gain zeny through this item even if they have not received any rare drops from MVPs.

Lastly we have hypermart sale. There are special promos for New Loki again as expected. For the other servers we have the re occuring sales.

Magic Mushroom Experience

Guillotine Cross has researched new poisons to aid them in their assassinating proficiency. One of which is a poison called Magic Mushroom. Magic Mushroom is a strong poison which  forces victim to involuntary cast random skills and reduces health overtime for 5minutes.

Patch Notes: May 11, 2011

The patchnotes for this week is super late. And we waited so long for a patch with nothing special.

We have bug fixes for Assaulter Spear, Whikebain's Black Ear and Wikebain's tail (still on Sakray testing).

Then we have Hypermart on sale as usual. New offer for New Loki Server as expected even before it was launched. Probably most hypermart offers will be given for New Loki.

Well that's all we have for this week. It's a bit boring but we have to bear it and hope that the next patches will be more exciting.

Endless Tower - Four Man Team

Overview:
I think everyone is already familiar with Endless Tower because it is the hottest dungeon for Power Leveling this Renewal. It's not an exception on our case because we are taking advantage of the experience given by the MVP monsters inside this dungeon. MVP monsters are the only monsters without experience penalty. And where can you find most of these MVPs? Yep it's in Endless Tower! What do we get on entering this dungeon? An adventure while leveling up!

All votes are in! It was sa short poll but the participation is more than I expected. I would like to thank everyone who participated on this poll. The poll aims to take the impression of pRO players regarding the new server called New Loki. Your vote means a lot in giving out the general pulse. Patch Notes: May 4, 2011

The patchnotes are posted late again. There are no in-game events or activities for the week. Looks like pRO is constantly having a stagnant patch except for modified experience. I wonder why they aren't releasing any week-long events like Bossnia, Crowd Control or Siege events.

On the patchnotes, we have an intriguing change of trade options for Treasure Boxes and it's selling price. If I look back there are no reported abuse or involvement of this item with RMT. Or maybe I miss reading something? I have a wild guess that this move from pRO GMs might be a preparation with character transfer? Well we don't know exactly what its all about but if someone knows the reason please share it to us.

Another round of fixes is being implemented. I hope the kRO Sakray skill balancing would soon reach our servers. And Easter event has been removed.

On the hypermart side, almost everything is still on sale. They also have noted that new cash items are available in sakray for testing. Lets just wait and see what are those new items.

Honestly, our patchnotes is getting blunt each time. I hope the GM team would create a non-cash event that would spice up our game play. Or they should request for Episode 13.3 El Dicastes for our servers. Anyways read the rest of the patchnotes after the jump.
