Patch Notes: March 28, 2012

Patchnotes are up! And we have a good news for everyone. We have a modified experience and stat reset at the same time! Gear up and boost your level especially our job level.

Bossnia with a twist last week is a failed power leveling event. Most of us were thrilled with the event and our expectation was shattered into pieces. Yeah they knew what was going on. So this week might be our saving grace for power leveling. Cheers!

There is something fishy going on with New Loki again. I have no idea what was happening there but written on the patchnotes is the deletion of Maya Purple card and Moonlight Flower card even if it is compounded. I guess another issue of dupe?

Hypermart got another suprise. They released a new scroll named Aeon Firesong Scroll which has the chance to get a Sealed Tao Gunka Scroll. From what I've read this card is compounded on armor and gives 50% HP. Its not as powerful as the the MVP card but the HP increase is still something to look forward to. Then Lotti Girl has been updated to have Lord Knight card as a top prize for Valkyrie server. What a surprise another Biolab MVP has been released for gambling.

jRO's RJC 2012 Rules with 3rd Job Classes

jRO launched their RJC 2012 tournament! And guess what they are the first official server attempting to use 3rd jobs in their tournament.

Most official servers are hesitant to try 3rd jobs on their local tournaments because balancing patch hasn't arrived on their servers yet. As we all know most of the third jobs skills leans more on guild clashes so for a 7on7 tournament these skills seems over powered. A single third job status ailment can render a class or team useless considering that we only have 7 people working together. jRO for those who doesn't know has their own balancing fixes different from kRO. An example would be the fixed cast is only applied to 3rd job skills.

During pre-renewal, jRO is also the first official server to include transcendent class on their local tournament even before kRO set the rules for it. So here's the overview of their rules for this year after the break.

Patch Notes: March 21, 2012

Patchnotes are up! We have good news! Bossnia is back. Gear up and get ready for an amazing burst of experience that we've been waiting for. It's time for an intense addict mode on these dungeon.

There are a lot of events on going which varies from one server to another. Most of these events are leaning towards New Loki because it's the servers anniversary. As for my dear Valkyrie Server, we finally have our own share of EMPTY BOTTLE! I'll update my blog once I saw the details of the NPC.

For those who are curious, Lotti Girl is still giving away yummy prizes. This week she is giving away MVP Sniper Card as top prize. I think that's all I have to say. Read the rest of the patchnotes after the break. There are a lot more to read.

Valkyrie Agit Lords 2012 - Day 1

RPC season started early in pRO. Last January 18, 2012 marks the start of Agit Lords where competing guilds conquers agits  to gain Honor and Siege Points. Just like the usual our Agit Lords has 2 phases. The first phase is an all out war where everything is allowed. The second phase is something special because all godlies and Boss cards including some Mini boss cards are disabled on Agit maps.

Patch Notes: March 14, 2012

Patchnotes are up! A lot of returning events for the new servers.

Crowd control quests have made its way to our young servers. To give you an idea, crowd control quests are quests which lets you kill the target monster for a number of times. After you reach the kill count required you can redeem your prize which includes a mercenary badge. The mercenary badge can be exchanged with Siege headgears that are stylish and can be used for WOE. On Valkyrie they have updated the Enchant Armor NPC. I'm not sure if this is the Stat Enchant or Slot Enchant they didn't tell. Lotti Girl is also updated and now we have Mastersmith MVP as the top prize. We are getting close on easy access to imba MVP cards. Donita and Ligaya is back for the zeny drain with smaller bet. They haven't posted the prizes yet so we will see them when the game goes up. No memo wipes this time but we don't know if they are doing these without posting in the patchnotes. Lastly Valkyrie still doesn't have Botelita for our Empty Bottle needs! I don't know why our GMs are ignoring this issue in Valkyrie.

Patch Notes: March 7, 2012

Patchnotes are posted in time for lunch. We have everything set for Agit Lords Phase 2!
Just like what the rules says all Boss Cards, selected mini boss cards and godlies are disabled during these phase on all Agit Maps only. Boss Scrolls are now included on the list that will be disabled during these phase but they didn't post anything regarding the "sealed" MVP cards. I guess the previously released Sealed Kiel, Sealed Ktullanux and Sealed Dracula card are allowed during these phase. But if you look at these cards they are not that over powered as compared to the true strenght of the real MVP cards.

Then we have a new event or promo named Rock Paper Scissor in which we will all know when the servers are up. I have no idea if this is another gambling NPC comparable to Lotti Girl. And speaking of Lotti Girl she is back for season 8! So we have another gambling NPC back to give more hard to resist items..

Finally! Botelita is patch on all F2P servers for our empty bottle needs. I bet the price will be proportional to how messed up the economy of a server is. But doesn't matter as long as we have the precious empty bottles back. These time hoarding for real is a must for brewers. You'll never know if these problem will occur again in the future.
