Wolfchev's Laboratory - 2nd Attempt

Overview:
Wolfchev is the scientists who performed human experimentation in Lighthalzen to be used as weapons for Schwarzvald republic. Because of the nature of his works, he performed his experiments deep in the Biolabs where he had his own testing room. Wolfchev's Laboratory will show the horror done to the test subjects and these humans turned into monsters retaliate.



The Cast:
The getting to know stage is done on this dungeon. We are heavily crushed last run so our team composition for this run is much more prepared. From a devotion type Royal Guard we now used an offensive type Royal Guard as our tank. We also have a Sura for extra damage or a spare tank in case the initial plan don't work. We have a Genetic for MVP killing and Sorcerer for mob control. The Sorcerer can also act as MVP killer for ghost types and can use Land Protect for anti-AoE spells. The Ranger is an additional mob control. We don't have an Archbishop due to lack of available friends so the buff support task will be performed by our Sura. This time we have a prepared strategy for this dungeon and we are willing to try it out.


  • Rich Kid Herbert a Genetic - MVP killer, Full Coat Support and secondary mob control
  • Lucky a Ranger - mob control
  • Aeika a Sorcerer - alternate MVP killer, Land Protect Support and mob control
  • Aerin a Sura - alternate Tank, alternate MVP killer and proxy Buff support
  • Ethereal Nairian a Royal Guard - tank, MVP killer and mob aka Rambo

Requirements:
In order to reach the instance dungeon, the following pre-requisite quests must be performed.

The Adventure:
Everybody is excited to re-enter the dungeon because we find it a challenging one. After our bitter defeat on our previous run, we are coming back with a vengeance. My role this time is an MVP Killer so I prepared my MVP killing equipments plus an orlean's gown for the uninterrupted casting effect. I don't want my Acid Bomb to be constantly be interrupted so I used the carded orlean's gown for stray skills or monsters that will attack me. Then I brought the basics such as Mastela, Blue potions, Green potions and Full Coat Bottles.


Room 1:
The room is full of Starving Lab Animal with a sprite of a Desert Wolf. The room is very easy and the team must kill all these monsters. Clearing the room is easy and a bit chaotic


After clearing the room three items will shine namely the Manual Sheet and two Valves. The party leader will read the Manual Sheet and then perform the maneuvers on the Valve. The exact instructions must be performed in order to proceed to the next room. When successful you will enter the second room.


Room 2:
The room is also full of another set of Starving Lab Animals and you need to clear this room again. No other task will be performed aside from clearing the mobs. When done you may proceed to the next room. This is another easy room.


MVP Room:

Upon entering the last room, all of us performed our character rituals. I full coated everyone while our Sura buffed everyone with Acolyte skills. We are very cautious on our steps so as not to create chaotic party set-up. As planned, our Royal Guard serves as our tank so he leads the party on scouting. Seconds later the MVP and the mobs swarm our tank.


We are able to set up on the MVP as our tank braces himself as they attack him. Our tank manages the damages just fine while using Overbrand. Our Sorcerer was able to laid the Land Protect to prevent the mobs from using ground skills like Pnuema while laying down a combination of Warmer and Fog Wall on the rest of the team. At first the strategy is working but the knock back skills are pain in our set up because our tank was being dragged away from our set-up.


We then ask our tank to try pulling the MVP against the wall. It was difficult to perform but we were able to drag the MVP on a wall. Our Sorcerer was very attentive and put on our planned set-up. The MVP killing then on became very smooth and its as if we are there for a free kill.


The MVP Trentini goes down leaving behind some rares but low market demand drops. The team was very happy because we finally cleared the dungeon! Also this is one of the dungeons that we are very excited to try and we cleared it. Congratulations to us!


We explore the room for a while to give a closer look on Wolfchev's room. Our first timers were also curious on how the room looks like without the tension of being ambushed by the MVP. We also reminisce how Professor Celia crushed our dreams and leave us dead cold on the ground.


Comments:
Finally we have a successful run on this dungeon! An offensive tank and lucky MVP spawn helped us in clearing the dungeon. Gypsy Trentini is more manageable on our team set-up. The MVP is also powerful but the skills she used is not breaking our team apart. The only problem we encountered is the constant knock back when she uses damage. Our tank was always being thrown away making the rest of the team vulnerable for change attack. However we managed to used the walls in the dungeon to prevent further knock backs so we were able to set-up on her. With combined destructive skills we were able to take her down.
