Wolfchev's Laboratory - 1st Attempt

Overview:
Wolfchev is the scientists who performed human experimentation in Lighthalzen to be used as weapons for Schwarzvald republic. Because of the nature of his works, he performed his experiments deep in the Biolabs where he had his own testing room. Wolfchev's Laboratory will show the horror done to the test subjects and these humans turned into monsters retaliate.

The Cast:
The team is expecting a very hard dungeon considering that Biolabs itself is a horrific dungeon from the start. In our discussions we have simulated that these monsters will be like battling players knowing that the monsters are also capable of using high powered skills of their class such as Extremity Fist, Full Strip, Dispell and the like. So opted to have a Royal Guard as tank instead but we are not dropping the idea of using a Mental Strength Sura as our tank. Because the dungeon will give us a random MVP, we still choose a Genetic as our MVP killer because of its versatility however we will have problems with ghost property MVP. That's where our Rune Knight will shine as our MVP killer. Even if we have a limited team line up for this run, we are positive that we can somehow put up a fight while praying that a ghost property MVP will not appear because we will have a harder time at the dungeon. This is also our getting to know the dungeon attempt so we are not that pressured for a smooth run.

  • Herbie Boy a Royal Guard - tank
  • batsu an Archbishop - support
  • Lord_Spartacus a Rune Knight - MVP killer and mob control
  • Asura Strike a Sura - tank or MVP killer, and mob control
  • Ethereal Nair a Genetic - main MVP killer and mob control

Requirements:
In order to reach the instance dungeon, the following per-requisite quests must be performed.
Biolabs' Entrance Quest
Biolabs 4 Quest

The Adventure:
Everybody in the team is excited on this dungeon because we literally are looking forward to face the MVPs. As the tanker, I have overweight myself with different MVP defensive equipments and I will rely mostly on my shield buffs to prolong my life. I have carried Yggdrassil Berry, Mastela and other HP potions that instantly heals a percent of my HP.

Room 1:
The room is full of Starving Lab Animal with a sprite of a Desert Wolf. The room is very easy and the team must kill all these monsters.

After clearing the room three items will shine namely the Manual Sheet and two Valves. The party leader will read the Manual Sheet and then perform the maneuvers on the Valve. When successful you will enter the second room

Room 2:
The room is also full of another set of Starving Lab Animals and you need to clear this room again. No other task will be performed aside from clearing the mobs. When done you may proceed to the next room

MVP Room:
MVP Generated: Professor Celia
Upon entering the room, our team buffed up and did our class rituals. The room is not that big but there is a lot of space where team can maneuver and regroup. Since this is our first dungeon, all of us scout the area until the MVP came and rushing into our team.

The hard part of the dungeon mechanics is identifying who is the MVP among the group of mobs walking together. Because the MVP creation of the dungeon is random we need to identify who are the mobs and who is the MVP. As a start up we have our Sura tank the group of mobs then we tried to randomly kill it with our genetic one by one. Both our Genetic and Lord Knight were linked to me through Devotion.

Our team was wiped out and we still don't know who is the MVP. As I am lying, I observed that the one who is summoning the mobs is the MVP and usually the mobs around him/her will try to buff or heal heal him/her. Then Bingo, our MVP is Professor Celia.

I did some quick research while we are battling the MVP and she really is a ghost property. And our only way to fight her is relying on our Rune Knight. Unfortunately, after several deaths our Rune Knight was disconnected and did not return in the instance. I'm not also sure though if the dungeon allows re-enter for disconnected party members.

Our genetic still insists that we have to try and kill her and so we did. We had several clash scenes, regroup and try to fight back but the MVP proves her might. I personally have encountered a double Extremity Fist from her mob!

Our main problem is her Soul Draining skill, Dispell on the the tank, and lack of ghost MVP killer. When we had enough of the clashes we accepted our defeat. We promised ourselves that we will come back to this dungeon and clear it!

Comments:
We have been murdered mercilessly! Our first run is a nightmare because of all the possible MVPs we've got a ghost type in the form of Professor Celia. She showed us not only her expertise in using Land Protect and Dispell but also her ability to cast an area Soul Drain. It's like every time she makes a move she starts casting Soul Drain which creates a huge problem to our team because all of us are SP dependent characters. Her constant Dispell also hurts the protective buffs of our Royal Guard. Aside from her, the mobs are also very active in using high end spells such as Demonstration, Extremity Fist and Strip Equipment.

I have given enough time to think of a strategy for Professor Celia but I guess she all had her resources to shut down even a prepared team. Maybe a group of Rune Knights as MVP killer and a Royal Guard equipped with HP gears as tank might have a chance to kill her. Though the SP draining will still be a pain, this team might have a bigger chance on killing her. However in our case I don't think we can pull off such team so in our next run we will pray harder that we won't get Professor Celia.
