Bossnia Power Leveling

Overview:
Bossnia is a boss all you want dungeon where people can take advantage the endless spawn of MVP monsters. In pRO, the dungeon became a semi regular event with which when implemented it will be enjoyed for a week. But that's not what pRO players anticipate on this event. Adventurers are looking forward for this event because of Power Leveling!

Bossnia is a boss all you want dungeon that happens on a semi rare occasion in pRO. Usually when Bossnia is released it is included on the pRO's patchnotes. That means we have a week long to enjoy this event. The dungeon was made extra special this renewal because only MVP Monsters are not affected with the experience penalty that is applied globally. Bossnia on Post Renewal

Overview:
Bossnia Dungeon is a boss all you want dungeon where MVPs spawns like normal monsters. Pre-renewal it is one of the most used event by pRO next to modified experience. People tend to enter the dungeon to harvest high value loots from these MVPs. Post-renewal the event is somewhat being held back because MVPs are the only fast pace leveling available. Things came up unexpectedly and pRO launched the first Bossnia Event in Renewal!

Bossnia Event - 7th time

Bossnia has been released again and became a regular event in pRO. It has been offered on our servers from July 14, 2010 to July 21, 2010. Basically, Bossnia is a dungeon where MVPs spawn like regular monsters. There are 4 rooms available for hunting where in they contain the same MVPs and with the same map. Even if it sounds difficult there are still rooms for battles.

My guildmates will never skip these events so we organized a hunting party. We have formed a 6-man party to explore the Bossnia Dungeon. We balanced our team to have a tank, support and killers. We had 2 team composition choices but we ended up having 2 High Priests, 2 Biochemists, a Champion and a High Wizard. All in all we had 2 support, a tank and 3 damage dealers.

The Bossnia Event has been offered again from May 12, 2010 to May 19, 2010 to all MVP hunters. The Bossnia Event had a great demand from the players that's why I'm not surprise that the Game Masters managed to release it again. Basically Bossnia is a dungeon full of MVPs ranging from Low End MVPs and High End MVPs. The MVPs inside the dungeon spawns just like a normal mob in which most Low End MVPs were a common while High End MVPs were rare. The scenario seemed frightening but in reality the dungeon is big enough to accommodate MVP battles. There were some changes applied for this time like Baphomet is removed but Nidhoggur has been added in his place with an 8hr spawn time, and Shield Reflect and Redemptio has been disabled on Bossnia maps.

Bossnia Event – The Comeback

When: June 18 and June 21, 2009

So the Bossnia Event has made it’s comeback at Valkyrie Server last June 17, 2009 up to June 24, 2009.  I had made a journal about the first Bossnia event that could be found at Bossnia Event.

Bossnia Event

pRO recently added a unique event for all ragnarok players. A dungeon where all MVPs resides and spawns just like a normal monster. They call this dungeon Bossnia.

Valkyrie server has been given a chance to have an unlimited entry to the Bossnia Dungeon provided that you avail of the premium service. For those does not avail of the premium service, hypermart is selling a one time entry ticket. For the complete details you may refer to this link pRO site.

Just for curiosity on the event, I tried to enter the map and explore what's inside it. Suddenly I bump into a Biochemist who invited me to her party. Because I want to try enjoy the event I joined her party. There are 4 rooms to choose from where each room has varied difficulty of MVPs. We choose to enter the first map since it doesn’t have the super strong Biolabs MVPs.

As we move around the dungeon we met a lot of familiar monsters. Since our team is small compared to our full pack party during Endless Tower, we could only defeat Low-End MVPs. The common MVPs that we met were Golden Thief Bug, Drake, Dark Snake Lord and Orc Lord.

Since the dungeon is not only populated with low end MVPs, once in a while we bump with high end MVPs. Most of the time we ended up dying and wiped out due to their overwhelming power. Our current team is not prepared to face these MVPs so as much as possible we evade their attacks. These kind of MVPs were rare sight so it's not hard for us to navigate our way to the MVPs we can defeat.

As we continue our adventure at the bossnia dungeon, we met the same monsters over and over again. But at some point on our journey we also met rare spawn MVPs at the dungeon. It's our honor to battle these MVPs.

Not all our encounters were one MVP versus our team. Most of the time we are faced with group of MVPs. We tried to single out an MVP then go back to the other one to prevent commotion on our team. But of course this is not the typical scenario. We ended up killing the easier MVP first before the hard ones.

Bossnia Dungeon will always be a great MVP hunting experience. But because of the frequency of these dungeon event most of the rare MVP loots became common to our server which makes boss hunting less desirable. MVP loots floods our markets each time Bossnia is released on our server. Based on what I have observed, only few teams had participated this time because Bossnia is not rewarding anymore. What makes bossnia desirable is the boss-all-you-want notion and the bonding with the team.
