Nidhoggur's Nest Visit

Overview:
It's been a while since Angel and I had an adventure on the remote dungeon of Nidhoggur's Nest. Before, we have been farming Nidhoggur's Shadow for his Piece of Angent Skin [1]. We've been exploring this dungeon on duo since then. We still do farm it  but not as often as before because of life priorities plus the easy access of the said item on CnR promos. Our adventure on this dungeon only lasts for a few minutes because  we are already familiar with the dungeon mechanics. Lucky Nidhoggur's Nest Farming

Nidhoggur's Nest has been a farming grounds to us. As you all know, Nidhoggur's Shadow drops the most preferred garment called Piece of Angent Skin [1] also known as Proxy [1]. The quest on unlocking the instance dungeon is long and painful that is why only a few adventurers have the patience on finishing the quest. But the rewards are worth it we only need patience. Nidhoggur Renewal Farming

Nidhoggur's Nest is one of our favorite farming dungeon in-game because of the possible Piece of Agent Skin [1] that will be dropped. However renewal hits our main servers so our concentration shifted on the new contents of the game. The fact that Nidhoggur's Shadow level has been raised to 117 and mobs has been boosted too it would be hard for us to survive the dungeon.

Nidhoggur’s Nest

Overview:
Episode 13.2 made our adventures exciting again with the addition of a new instance dungeon called Nidhoggur’s Nest. The dungeon found in the New World features two levels of mazes and a boss room that houses the dreaded Nidhoggur’s Shadow. Nidhoggur’s Shadow is said to have resided on the roots of Yggdrasil tree devouring the nutrients from the roots. The Lapine tribe at the west part of Midcamp is seeking for the help of adventurers to stop Nidhoggur’s Shadow from draining life out of the Yggdrasil tree.

Last Days of Nidhoggur Farming

Renewal had become a common news to all Ragnarok enthusiasts. The expected changes brought about by renewal was drastic. Almost everything will be changed when renewal hits the main servers. As preparation my friend Angel_Fist has thought of farming the item "Piece of Agent Skin [1]" before it will be impossible to do so.

Nidhoggur's Nest - September 2, 2010

Nidhoggur's Nest Instance Dungeon had become one of my weekly routine. Angel and I had been very diligent in taking the quest each week. Each time we took the quest we are praying for a Piece of Angent Skin [1] to drop. Currently the Piece of Angent Skin [1] is one of the most sought after garment next to Diabolus Manteau [1] because of its defensive capabilities.

Last September 2, we had a regular adventure on the said dungeon. As we are waiting for the Instance Dungeon to be created for us, I noticed that a cute Draco had a weird name. It had the name " Egg Keeper Draco". I have no idea if that Draco is part of a quest but it was freely lurking around the area. It was so cute that I wish to make it a pet.

When we finally had our own instance dungeon created, we entered Nidhoggur's Nest and hopes for a lucky drop. We went through the winding maze before we faced the Shadow of Nidhoggur. It was easy for us to go through the maze because we already have memorized the path. But at times we are lost for a while but we were able to recover quickly because the maze is small. At the third level of the dungeon, we had to face the Shadow of Nidhoggur. The battle starts by the time we walk into the middle of the room.

The Shadow of Nidhoggur as an MVP is very powerful but predictable. His slow move speed made a room for us to strategize and hit. For every 5 minutes we are warped into status inflicting rooms. After clearing the room we had to immediately return with our fight because Nidhoggur has the tendency to cast Full heal. At the end of our battle, I'm surprised that we are lucky again. Nidhoggur is too generous to drop a Piece of Angent Skin [1] for us.

We call it another successful adventure. I hope on our next run we will have the same luck just like that night.

Nidhoggur Instance - Failed

Angel and I had planned to try another instance dungeon other than what we already have experienced before. We thought of trying out with Nidhoggur's Nest Instance Dungeon because we haven't really explored the new world thoroughly. All prerequisite quests has been performed and we now have the privilege to perform the instance dungeon.
