Shopaholic Girl

Overview:
Shopaholic Girl is a market NPC that provides services that aids players on their shopping spree at Prontera City. It was initially released as a temporary NPC but due to numerous positive feedback it was then announced as permanent.

How to avail Shopaholic Girl services:
Locate Shopaholic Girl near center of Prontera. She might not be visible with all the vends at times but you can check her location hear the wall going to the center

Once you talk to her, She will offer the market services to you. First option is Search the shop while the Second option Broadcast Service.

Services Offered:

 ~ Broadcast Service ~

- cost 5,000z once selected
- it will prompt an empty text box where you can place your message

- when you select OK there will be a Prontera City wide broadcast of your message that appears on top of screen and appears as blue text on the message box

- there is a 20 minute cool down to use the said service again

~ Search the shop ~

- cost 10,000z once selected with 10 search tries available
- press enter to remove other message box which leaves you with the Search for Vends window

- If you know the exact name of the item you are looking for, then type it directly on the Item box. The window will automatically list all available vends with the cheapest on the first result

- If you are searching for equipment, it will list down both carded and non-carded vends. Only 10 items can be displayed at a time so you need to use the next button to navigate

- If you need to search specifically for a carded equipment then you can use the Item and Card text box for the search

- Cards can also be searched via the Item text box

- You can also left click on the listed items to verify if the equipment and card is what you are looking for

- Now to search for the specific spot of the vendor, double click the search result. The mini map will have a + icon on the location of the vend. Once you are on the location, the specific vend is high lighted in yellow

Tip:
If you don't know the exact name of the item you are looking for, you can always window shop on the vends to look for the exact name. Then type it on the Search the Shop Window to look for the cheapest vend. You can also use this technique even if you are Window Shopping.

Comments:
Shopaholic Girl is a very helpful NPC that was implemented for easier market navigation. It helps both buyer and seller meet through broadcast. The Search Shop on the other hand protects buyers from over priced sellers since the buyer can easily look for the cheapest vend of a certain item.
The limitation however is that it can only search on Prontera City and not on other towns. But the thing is other market cities does not have a big number of vendors as Prontera City.
