Byalan Level 6 Expedition

Byalan has been in Ragnarok online for so long. It is one of the favorite dungeon of pre-transcendence adventurers because of the increasing progression it offers. You can practically start there from a lowbie until you become a second job. Although mage classes will have harder time in the dungeon without a party.

After several years, Byalan Island remained a dungeon without an MVP. The last floor portrays a kingdom built under the deep blue sea. Most of the monsters are deep sea creatures but nothing really to hunt there unless you aim for level up. There are merman, strouf, penomena, deviance, etc.

Now Ragnarok Online has decided to extend the dungeon to have a level 6. The deepest part of the dungeon can be visited at the uppermost mid part of level 5. There will be an NPC at the castle structure which will take you there. During my adventures I was able to enter the dungeon with premium ON with a party but I'm the only one in the party. I'm not sure if non-premium users can enter this dungeon.

When I entered the dungeon, There are a lot of new monsters who greeted me. There is a giant crab named King Dramoh, an eel like creature called Sropho and a tentacle in a pot called Pot Dofle. But nothing beats the one who gave me the warmest welcome of all, MVP Kraken together with his formidable Legs. Yahir was able to hold him for me for a while. Due to his shear power and water ball both Yahir and I went down  easily. But I guess with a proper party set up Kraken will be an easy MVP.

The whole area of level 6 is similar to level 5. If you can recall that level 5 has more sandy parts than the parts with slabs of rocks. Level 6 is like the interior of the castle with lots of stairs, walls, doors and block of rocks. The area is pretty mobby but I'm not really sure if this is because no one is leveling here. I can say that the dungeon is like Glast Heim chivalry under the sea with sea monsters roaming around it. It is a great dungeon to visit.

So If you are planning to visit the dungeon prepare for the worst. The monsters inside the dungeon can be tanked by a high level adventurer but you might die from the mobs. Good Luck!
