Patch Notes: February 29, 2012

Patchnotes are posted super late this afternoon. They said that Ports of Malaya Patch has been installed in Sakray which makes the regular maintenance too long.

Most events are deactivated so we don't have any new event aside from the on going events like Agit Lords. Nothing will occupy us this week so its a rest week I guess.

Lotti Fairies changed season again and from what I've heard the top prizes are MVP Valkyrie Rangis Card, +11 Weapon Refine Deed and MVP Tao Gunka Card. pRO is really pushing their luck so hard in increasing sales.They are filling our markets with hard-to-get to extremely-hard-to-get items by making their accessibility easy like sending them out to gambling promos. With the current trend its not surprising if we might see Fallen Bishop Card or Gloomy Under Night Card or worst Golden Thief Bug Card on gambling promos in the future. The GMs should be rethinking of their actions regarding the accessibility of uber gears. If you see them released in-game expect them to be accessible in the black market. =)

Another week of memo wipe which somehow helps but does not solve the problem. People will always have access to these false warps regardless. Then we have Mug and Gank skills disabled on our server. which might slow down the zeny harvest but our economy will still be inflated. I think they should add Cramp Card and Zeny knife on their list to be disabled. These items had a similar function as the disabled skills.

Patch Notes: February 22, 2012

Patchnotes are in but I have little spare time today to I'll make the commentary quick.
New Iris (pRO's newest server) is now open to public. There are a lot of events going on in the server for people who will be making this server their home.

Together with the lauched of the New Server is the extension of Modified Experience for all servers.So players can still go on with their grinding moments for another week. I can also see that most events will focus on the new server just like what they did with New Loki and probably New Loki will not be that special as they have treated them before. For those who are not aware the defining feature of New Iris is all MVP Boss Cards are disabled in the server. Mini Boss cards like Ghostring Card, Deviling Card and Maya Purple Card can only be obtrained through promos and events. Actually this "can only be obtained through promos and events" statement sounds familiar to me. Maybe they are refering to Lucky Scrolls? Lotti Girls? CnR? BB event? Also their site didn't mention if they will be allowing about MVP Scrolls like Tao Gunka Scroll, Mistress Scroll and others.

I promise to make this short so my last item would be the new Lucky Scroll called Wind Type Scroll. You will have the chance to get Garm Card, Hankie in Mouth and Sunglasses Baseball Hat. Patch Notes: February 15, 2012

Patchnotes are up late after lunch. We have a MODIFIED EXPERIENCE again. More experience, more fun. If you're not yet level 150/50 then this is the time to catch up with your level.

Valentines day patch is implemented in our servers. Maybe this is one of the patches that are not really being performed by veterans because it is the same old patch just like the other years. Then we have the updated Lotti Fairies with new sets of Boss Cards for gambling. I think I'm right to say that Lotti Fairies are the new gambling event of pRO next to Lotti Girl, Donita and Ligaya, and Lucky Scrolls. Have fun pushing your luck.

I was not aware about the Empty Bottle exploit in New Loki and I'm left wondering what happen to the Empty Bottle NPC in Morroc. I hope the GMs will bring back the NPC and taking into account that it will no longer be exploitable. I could still remember the exploit on Speed Potions and Food Buffs that exploded the amount of zeny in Valkyrie.

Rankings for Alchemist and Blacksmith has been reset. Time to catch up for those who are aiming for the top brewers and forgers. Although their products are no longer practical to use maybe they can still aim for popularity.

Glad to see the weekly memo wipe but people still have means of obtaining one. Last week I was a victim of these false warp while doing my daily quest. It just proves that abusers sure have ways to get those memos. If you are a victim just like me there are ways to get out of these trap areas. Being prepared is better than to be sorry and asks GMs to relocate your character which usually takes time. Nothing interest me in the Hypermart for this week. Maybe the 5php Gym Pass will be a great offer for those who haven't availed the increase weight limit feature. I hope pRO will release the Moon with clouds thing costume headgear soon. I love costume headgears which has something to do with the sky like the Blazing sun and Rainbow! Since I posted this I hope they will not overprice it or make it an event prize!

Patch Notes: February 8, 2012

Patchnotes are up during lunch break.

We say good bye to Donita and Ligaya and hello to Lotti Fairies. I'm not sure if Donita and Ligaya were successful in drianing our servers zeny. If it does then good for them but their effect is not that felt yet. Valhalla just got their Donita and Ligaya event this week. I'm not sure if they have an economic problem just like the other servers that might fixed with this event. Then we have Lotti Fairies coming in our servers. Which pretty much reminds me of Lotti Girl. If you're not aware of Lotti Girl you can read her here. But I'm not sure if these Fairies are related to Lotti Girl. If they are related then we have another gambling event.

A lot of bug fixes on going then we have our regular deletion of illegal warps. I  just want to point out why would they include their fixes with the banned words. People will start using that for cursing starting today because they knew it is allowed. If they kept it a secret people will always have the mindset that it is a banned word.

I'm also excited with the awarding update. Finally its Valkyries turn for the BBB event awarding. I hope we will get our prizes early so that we can use them for the on-going Agit Lords.

Last on my list which I find it ok is the on going sale of Gym Pass. It is a good way of increasing your weight. More weight means more consumables to carry. It will only cost you 50php for getting lvl10 but if you're on tight budget you can get until lvl5 which is 25php. You can read my Adding Weight Limit through Gym Pass post for more info.

Exchanging KVM Points

Overview:
KVM or Keiger Von Midgard is another battle ground map where in there are 2 groups with 5 members each that will be clashing and try to take out as many players as possible on the opposite team. At the end of the battle, all players will be receiving KVM points but the winners will receive more. These points can be redeemed to get high end gears.

Exchanging Bravery and Valor Badges

Overview:
Battle grounds is a faction PVP with WOE damage setting. There are 2 groups with 10 members each that will be clashing. At the end of every battle all players will receive badges but the winners will receive more. The badges given depends on the battle field you joined in. These badges can be redeemed to get high end gears.

Patch Notes: February 2, 2012

Patchnotes are up after lunch break. The controversial Donita and Ligaya are back with style. Based on their pictures the NPC has changed. But we will be waiting for the catch in stored with this NPC. Valhalla is not included on the servers with Donita and Ligaya so I'm guessing this is testing the waters. Lets just wait and see.

Too bad Bossnia is over. But It was fun while it lasted. I hope everyone had a great time leeching! I feel sorry for Ifrit but oh well everyone is happy.

Sakura Blossom is on our servers again. This is the week where we get to see cherry blossoms in Prontera and Payon. Aside from this event we also have a Valentines Event.

Agit Lords Phase 1 is still on going. The battles are getting serious and vicious. Guilds pride is at stake. I love what is happening with Valkyrie's alliance clashes. Read the rest of the patch notes after the break.
