MVP Renovation

Overview:

MVP has been renovated by ROMSP to add more challenge when fighting them. It will also encourage party play and better tactics when engaging them through field hunting, bloody branch summoning or facing them on instance dungeons.

Generally, the MVP renovation has significantly increase the HP of all the MVPs and adjusted specific stats to make them challenging. The drop of most MVPs has also been significantly changed where in new item drops were added.

New MVP Drops:

Boss Amulet - can be used to gamble to get random list of MVP drop

Salapao - 1 weight consumable that fully restores HP

Gyoza - 1 weight consumable that fully restore SP

Mysterious Card - can be used to redeem items and services from a list

Ancient Grudge - ingredient on creating Malaya Tattoos

Comment:

MVP stat adjustment is a welcome change because the aim is clear to make them more challenging. High Tier MVPs have justified good drops even without the renovation so adjusting their difficulty is still ok. However lower Tier MVPs become difficult but their drops are underwhelming. It would be better to give better rewards for low Tier MVPs.

The adjustment of the card drop to 0.02% is insignificant because it is still low so it does not really justify the adjustment of lower tier MVPs to be more difficult.
