Getting out of Trap Areas Using Items

Overview:

pRO's F2P servers has a setting which disables the use of any Teleport abilities. Items like Butterfly Wing and Flywing has their teleport disabled but are still existing in-game for quest purposes. Teleport skills from the Acolyte class has been removed from the skill tree. Consequently, Creamy Card drop from Old Card Album and Creamy monster has been removed. Because of this harsh setting a lot of stuck areas has emerge. However there are items which will save you.

Getting out of stuck areas using Items

Stuck Area:

The following locations are famous to be stuck locations where in characters are trapped.

• Midcamp
• Amatsu
• Assassin's Guild
• Novice Training Grounds
• Einbroch Field
• Alberta Town
• Umbala Dungeon level 2

How to get out of Stuck Areas using Items:

Listed are the items which will be your savior once you encounter being trapped on one of the areas mentioned above. Some items will not be an effective means but there are items which will save you regardless of stuck location you are in. Hypermart Items:

Colored Butterfly Wings

An item which mimics the properties of a Butterfly Wing. It is available in Blue, Red, Green and Yellow. Each colored Butterfly Wing has a specific map selection to choose from. The popular among them is the Yellow Butterfly Wing because the map selection are all Midgard towns and cities including Prontera. A box of this item contains 10pcs of Colored Butterfly Wing.

Siege Teleport Scroll

The ability of this item resembles that of a Colored Butterfly Wing. However map selection includes all war of emperium maps. It is available in Gold and Silver. Gold Scrolls includes all agit from WoE 1 while Silver Scrolls includes all agit from WoE 2.

Giant Fly Wing Box

An item which mimics the properties of a Fly Wing. When the item is used by a party leader, it will teleport all its party members randomly within the map. When used by a party member it will teleport that member only just like a regular Fly Wing.

Non Hypermart Items:

Poison Bottle

Although this item is also available at the hypermart, it can also be obtain in-game so I consider this as a non-hypermart item. The item instantly kills any non-Assassin Cross class upon consuming the item. A little warning though, it will reduce your experience if used on a non-town map. Upon death you now have the option to return to your save point. Also note that some abusive vendors might be selling Poison Bottles at the stuck areas.

Novice Fly Wing

note: disabled on pRO F2P servers since Nov 3, 2011 patch
An item which has the same ability as a normal Flywing. It can only be obtain during the Ranger job change exam. Players changing into a Ranger are given 10pcs Novice Fly Wing. The item can be used even after the job change.

Inside-out Shirt

An item introduced during the Port Malaya patch. The item can be obtained by killing Tikbalangs on Port Malaya field . However, pRO made it more available by creating an NPC named Port Malaya Immigrant in Prontera where you can purchase this item on unlimited amounts. Mysterious Seed

An item introduced during the Bifrost patch. The item can be obtained by going through the confusing Hazy Forest. As you go deeper in the forest you will eventually land on a big flower where there are branches where you can harvest these Mysterious Seeds. After you harvest a certain branch wait for few minutes and you can harvest it again. When using the item, you will automatically teleported to Mora Village.

Other Miscellaneous Item:

Kafra Card

Kafra Card gives you the ability to use Kafra Storage Service anytime anywhere. It does not directly get you out of the stuck area but somehow it lets you access your kafra storage and search for items which can get you out of the stuck area. This is also another hypermart item.

Conclusion:

As a pre-caution always bring Colored Butterfly Wings or Poison Bottles. But take note of the limitation for Poison Bottles. And be careful on getting along a stray Warp Portal.
