War of Emperium - June 27, 2011

War of the Emperium for us became so lively again because PaTaY GuToM GanG finally had a home guild once again. We are now a dedicated and loyal members of Untouchables guild regardless of emotional state of our GM (lol peace out Kool!). We call our circle of friends active in siege PaTaY GuToM GanG because we are bunch of players who doesn't hesitate to consume pots and thrown expensive skills even in the midst of desperate situations. In short we always go all out in every war that we join in.

I know its a bit a back track siege write up but I think its worth reading considering the action packed defense that we gave on this siege. We have gathered sufficient and talented members to be able to successfully break into the War of Emperium 2 agit. I consider WoE 2 to be more hard core siege as compared to WoE 1 in terms of strategically conquering the agits. WoE 1 sieges is more on who can run fast and break the Emperium while WoE 2 sieges is more of progressive battle as determined by the number of standing defenses like the barricades.

Just like what I mentioned earlier we are now a competitive guild even for WoE 2 sieges. Because WoE 2 has limited number of agits, Valkyrian guilds tends to have tight battles during this time. As for our guild, we had a fare share of clashing with popular guilds. The whole 2 hours is action packed because from my estimate our server has more guilds as compared to the number of agits available to conquer. Hot agits are often flocked by at least 5 guilds mostly guilds that hungers for an agit and guilds who seeks action.

Going back to the emperium room

As the war of emperium comes to an end, our frequent visitors namely Endless guilds and Lost Command guild tag team to infiltrate our defenses. We tried our best to stop their attack but they have an overwhelming number. Added to their force are their Godlies and boss cards to back them up. Our barricade defense fall easily because of the barrage of damages and the counter Land Protect triggered from a Detale Armored Royal Guard. Our ground status inflicting spell defenses like Vacuum Extreme and Chaos Panic was cleared so we have no choice but to some how slow them through targeted and screen wide status inflicting spells like Araullo, Frosty Misty and Howling of Mandragora.

Our barricade defence readily shifted to Emperium Hug defence upon a successful Emergency Call from our GM. But when when we tried to proctect our Emperium, there are a lot of Emperium breakers and enemy supports around the area. Some of us had fallen easily from lone Sura's and those who survived tried to slow the breaking of the Emperium. The scenario is so chaotic that I used my instincts to defend the Emperium. I casted protection spells on myself first like Blinding Mist and Warmer then alternately casting Araullo, Diamond Dust, Dispell and Soul Siphon.

A couple of seconds had passed and I was killed while trying to protect the Emperium. I'm not aware with what happend to my other guildmates though. The enemy guild conquered our agit just in time the war of emperium ends for that night. It was a hard fought battle but we are still happy to give our best.

Well that's life. We win battles, we lose some but the most important thing is we gave our best. This battle had tested the stregth of our guild at that moment. I can say that we have improved by a lot considering that we have attracted strong guilds in our Agit and the fact that we can successfully conquer a WoE 2 agit now. It's fulfilling that we started out with a "sabaw" guild and evolved into a strong guild capable of competing with other veteran guilds in our server.
