Quest Requirement:
Note: Old Blue Box can also be created using the Old Blue Box quest
Quest Proper:
Talk to OBG Exhanger at the Eden Group First floor. She wears an Alchemist clothing and located at the reception desk.
She will immediately ask on how would you want to convert your Old Blue Box. You are offer the option for one conversion or bulk conversion
Any of the options selected will instantly convert your Old Blue Boxes into Old Purple Box. Congratulations!
Special Events:
There are seasons where in ROMSP adds spice into these boxes which encourages players to open them for a chance to get newly added items. Compiled below are some of the seasons that were released

Old but Gold Season2 - July 2, 2020 to July 16, 2020
Old but Gold Season3 - September 10, 2020 to October 1, 2020

It is very clear that this is a zeny drain NPC but if you really are into gambling using zeny then you can avail this service. I have nothing against this service since this is only optional. The Old Blue Box and Old Purple Boxes can always be obtained from monster drops and there are also other means to get them
In the future, the management can always add hard to resist items which encourages players to use this service to drain zeny from the server.
