Card system is a classic feature of Ragnarok Online where it is still
being updated every now and then. Cards are specifically dropped by the
monster it represents. For example a Poring Card is exclusively being
dropped by Poring monsters. But of course at present day there are other
means of getting this cards aside from looting it from the monster
itself. kRO has cunningly released individual cards that were not part of big card updates.
The new cards released individually were noticeably from instance dungeons. Two of which are normal monster drops from Glast Heim Instance while the other two cards are MVP cards from Heroes Trail Instances.
White Knight Card
Description: ATK +15
Increase 20% more damage to medium and large monsters.
If equipped with Khalitzburg Knight card,
Add 15% more damage to medium and large monsters
Decrease 5% damage from medium and large monsters.
Compound on: Weapon
Khalitzburg Knight Card
Description: Def +20
Reduce 25% damage taken from medium and large monsters
If equipped with White Night card,
Add 15% more damage to medium and large monsters
Decrease 5% damage from medium and large monsters.
Compound on: Shield
Weakened Fenrir Card
Description: MATK +25.
Compound on: Headgear
Fenrir Card
Description: MATK+50, each refine add MATK +5.
Decrease Fixed cast time by 70%.
Compound on: Headgear
Sarah Card
Description: When the damage taken exceeds the user's Max HP, user will only take the amount that exceeds the user's Max HP
Compound on: Armor

and some ramdom RK hit me with crushing strike that gives me 50000 damage,
Sarah Card will take effect and will give me 10000 damage only instead of 50000.
Am I correct?
Yes that's how I understand it. It is a card that somehow prevents OHKO. in your example you need a total damage of 80000 to OHKO the player with Sarah Card.
Inquiry about sarah card:
How about attacks that won't exceed a character's max HP? Like normal attacks. I hope they nerf this card or better yet don't release it at all. Hahaha.

As I understand it the card will only take effect for attacks which exceeds max HP. If it does not exceed then damage computation will still be the same. The card somewhat prevents you from being OHKO though you will still die if the damage exceeds 2x your HP.
For example your max HP is 40k, then you receive 39k damage. damage received will still be 39k. if you receive damage of 41k then you will only receive 1k damage. If it is equal I'm not really sure and it will be very rare to have this condition. If you receive 80k damage then you are dead because you will be receiving 40k damage.
how about your max HP is 40k and got hit by 81k dmg what damage will you be receiving?
From what I understood you'll be receiving 41k damage. That means you're dead.
pardon me, I havent played ragnarok online in such a looooooooooooongg time. and so when the feeling of playing the game back came to me, I was SO SHOCKED/TRAUMATIZED/EXCITED that these characters from manhwa eg: fenris fenrir, sara, loki, chaos etetcc are in the game. So I downloaded and installed the latest patch and i couldnt find them anywhere. Can anyone be so kind as to pin point their location (coordinates) to me if possible? Thank you
hi azsh, what server are you playing? apparently the said patch has been only with kRO and possibly jRO as of this date. Other servers besides jRO is 2 years behind in terms of content. pRO currently has Eclage and the Heroes Trail patch is far from Eclage patch.
How does this Heroes Trail work? I'm curioys about it!

Heroes Trail are all Instance Dungeons where in you uncover the stories as you progress in the dungeon.
As far as I know you can access these Instance Dungeons from the Dimensional Rift. The one with a glowing ball in Morroc and in the New World.
Okay sana ung sarah. Kaso kung ganon effect dapat makunat karin LOL. Panu kung ang HP mo 50k tapos OP ang dmg sayo ng kalaban lets say 100k na ndi imposibleng mangyare kasi nageexist na ang mga over upgraded KVM. Patay karin LOL. TGK/GR parin. Pero siguro magiging useful din yan in some instances.
