Patch Notes: December 28, 2011

New Year is just around the corner!
The patchnotes after lunch but I didn't have the luxury of time to post them on time. Christmas patch is out and New Year's patch is in. There are fireworks on major cities. The New Year Buffer is also serving adventurers at the Prontera Fountain.

Port Malaya/Ports of Malaya patch might be released on the first quarter of 2012. It's our very own Philippine themed map. If you haven't seen any preview of these map read my Ports of Malaya - Philippine themed map post.

Create your own Rudolf Hairband as part of the Christmas patch. You don't need ROK points for these so its free for everyone.

Hypermart has a lot of events going. Push your luck on two lucky scrolls and the famous Lotti Girl. Always remember its a gamble and not a sure win thing. More costume gears are released for the costume tab. I haven't bought any of those because personally there are a lot more beautiful gears compared to the costume gears. Blue Bunny Band trading day has not been set yet so let's wait for its release.

Patch Notes: December 21, 2011

Ragnaholidays Everyone. Christmas week is here ~
Patchnotes are early and pRO does have a lot of yummy treats this Christmas season. Although most of them are hypermart offers we have MODIFIED EXPERIENCE for those who doesn't want to spend ROK points.

A lot of bug fixing is being performed on this patch. Most of which are re occurring bug fix. The relocation of an NPC is something new which they did to the Piercing Expert.

A lot of costume headgears have been released in the hypermart. The catchy costume headgear named Butterfly Wing Ear is being given away by Lotti Girl.

Last on my list is the newly released Christmas quest wherein at the end of the quest you'll be receiving a Rodulf Hairband. So read the rest of the patchnotes after the break.

Scaraba Hole First Expedition

Episode 13.3 has been long implemented on our servers but I haven't step on its grounds until these time. I'm pretty much excited to visit the place because its a major patch which follows the story line. My friends and I found a common time to explore and have an adventure in the new land called El Dicastes.

Hall of Abyss - Guild Dungeon Expansion

Overview:
The War of Emperium has been the best end game feature of Ragnarok Online. Most players are still into this game for so long because of these feature. And guess what there is an update to spice up these feature more. It is called Hall of Abyss.

Patch Notes: December 14, 2011

Ragnaholidays Everyone ~
Patchnotes are up after lunch break. Christmas season is starting in pRO servers as the Simbang Gabi Event is launched. Be one of the first players to get the first costume headgear in-game.

A lot of bug fixes are being applied. The most notable fix is the unlimited mATK bug caused by the Orlean's Necklace effect. I'm happy that they are doing this and hoped it is really fixed this maintenance. It caused so much trouble on our regular WOE SE siege last monday. Every guild is basically abusing the bug and unleasing one hit kill magics! Our siege last monday is just sick! A whole guild can be wiped with one hit Frosty Misty or Jack Frost. Any hiding players can be one shot by Ruwach! Its just like guilds who excessively abuse the bug will have a sure agit. This issue really caused a lot of inconvenience.

Hypermart doesn't say its on sale on the patch anymore but maybe most of the items are on sale. Let's just check when the servers are up. More headgears are being introduced in the hypermart. The New Feather Beret can be a good alternative to RWC cap. Buy this if you just want to have a different look from what is common without losing the 10% reduction to demi-human and the card slot. Blue Bunny Band is still at the hypermart for this week so more chances of getting ingredients for your trade.

Another controversial promo has been launched. Tao Gunka MVP Card released on Lotti Girl! Now on it's 5th season. Previously TGK card is sold at the hypermart for 5,000php. If you haven't heard of this news read my Tao Gunka in Hypermart post. Now Tao Gunka can be in your hands of luck by giving out a gamble with Lotti Girl. In my opinion, Lotti Girl is the ROK version of the previously released Donita and Ligaya. Somehow it is also a varation of the Lucky Scrolls to get rare items. Always remember this promo is gamble so be prepared for the worst and not just focus on the top prize.

Orange Bunny Band Upgrading Event

Overview:
Upgrading event has been around again and still has it's renewal touch. The concept of the upgrading is Sunny and Bright as contrast to the current rainy season we have in the Philippines when the event was implemented. Nonetheless the concept is in the direction of the color Orange so we have the Orange Bunny Band Event. Same concept and event rules apply where in adventurers will try to over upgraded Orange Bunny Bands and exchange them with hard to resist items on the lists provided by the GMs. The Orange Bunny Band has the attributes VIT +3, INT +2, STR +1 and over refinement bonus. Patch Notes: December 7, 2011

Christmas is near ~
Happy Holidays everyone. The patchnotes are up and I'm late on mirroring them. You may not be interested to read them anymore because I'm guessing you're familiar with it at this time. But I'll be posting this anyway.

Another bunny band event is released and this time its color Blue. The upgrade exchange list has been tremendously expanded. Most of the high tier exchange items are very great items to have but not worth the exchange because of the possible real life cost. But for an average player like me settling on the lower tier upgrades would still be a good deal. Aim for the +6 or +7 exchange list. They are worth it.

Simbang gabi event is also patch this time but the quest will start on the 14th of December. I never participate on this event because I know that I won't be able to finish this. For patient questers out there, this years reward is a promising one. The first costume headgear can be obtain here. Be the first to use the Costume tab on your character window. Last on the interesting things is the Port Malaya patch! I'm not sure if this will be the official name when it will arrive on our servers. Sounds like we will be receiving this patch first than the rest of the official servers excluding kRO. I'm looking forward on having an adventure on our own map. Patch Notes: December 1, 2011

Christmas is in the air ~
The patchnotes were posted and I'm super late to post it. During this time I'm preparing to go back home from my out of the country assignment. I will be posting this for the sake of archiving.

Basically this is the start of Christmas patch for pRO where all towns have decorations with some snow at the background. To make the ambiance complete the background music is also changed to Christmas songs.
