Boss Amulet

Overview:

All the MVPs currently implemented in ROMSP has been renovated to be more challenging and encourage party play when hunting them. With these reason, A new reward system was also implemented where in MVPs will now drop a Boss Amulet which can be accumulated and gambled for reward items.

Requirement:

• 5pcs Boss Amulet

• 1pc Magic Silk
• 500,000z

Note: Magic Silk is a treadable ROK item

How to get Boss Amulet:

1) Defeat any renovated MVP

2) Exchange MVP drops to Boss Amulet (not yet available)

How to Exchange:

Locate Captain Jansen in the lower right Alberta. It is the same NPC that will bring you to the Misty Island where we enter the Endless Tower

Locate MVP Exchanger on the Island. Its easy to look for him since the island is small. He looks like an Assassin Cross standing at the left part of the map. You will need to pay 10,000z for the island access.

Talk to him and choose the Boss Amulet to Random Item Option. Congratulations you now receive a random item.

Comments:

The added reward system of Boss Amulet is good however implementing it on a gambling system make it a bit off. Aside from the accumulation of Boss Amulet it will need a Magic Silk and a large sum of zeny which does not really reward the players but encourage them to gamble. Most of the rewards on the list are MVP drops that does not have value in the market so its not really advisable to gamble. I believe it is better to hunt the MVP itself than to rely on gambling since you have the chance to get more loot and sell some to the market.
