Overview:
Cards is one of the core features of Ragnarok Online. These items gives a significant boost to players equipment when compounded. Each of these cards corresponds to an existing monster in-game though not all monsters have their own cards yet. The release of the card exchanger will somehow change how we treat our cards.
As the server mature, a lot of these cards accumulate, Most of the not so good cards are hard to sell in the market and selling it to the NPC is not a good idea since it only cost 10z. ROMSP introduced Kard Trader Event to resolve the problem

July 16, 2020 to August 13, 2020
Quest Requirement:
How to Card Trade:
Locate Kard Machine at Eden right room. It stands at the right middle part of the room just below the card de-socket NPC.
Talk to the Kard Machine and it will provide you with two options.
The first option is to exchange ALL the cards on your inventory into Kard Koin. If you don't want to convert a certain card, leave them in your cart or in your Kafra. Once entered there is a confirmation box where in you will need to type in "confirm" or "CONFIRM" to successfully convert your cards
Another confirmation box will appear if you want to decompose all you cards or not
If you proceed you will then receive Kard Koin based on the number of decomposed cards. Congratulations!
The second option is to exchange 5 Kard Coin to 1 random Card but with a fee of 100,000. Once selected there is a confirmation box if you want to proceed.
The Kard Machine will then give you a random item. Congratulations!

The event is purely a zeny drain event considering the steep prize that needs to be paid everytime you want to exchange the cards. The Boss Cards and MVP cards are there just to entice players from trying the card exchange. But if you're into gambling then maybe this is for you.
