Wolfchev's Laboratory will show the horror done to the test subjects and these humans turned into monsters retaliate.
The Cast:
The team is compost of our usual set-up of having an offensive tank, a support and MVP killer. Basically we have a hyper offensive team with a plan of taking down the MVP as fast as possible. The idea is our offensive tank will be the first to face the MVP then the rest of the team follows. If we generate the Professor again then we consider it as a failed attempt.
- Rich Kid Herbert a Genetic - MVP killer, mob control and Full Coat Support
- Ethereal Nairian a Royal Guard - MVP killer and tank
- batsu an Archbishop - Full support
- Gajeel Redfox a Rune Knight - MVP killer and mob support
The Adventure:
We have done a couple of runs on the dungeon so most of the members are familiar with the mechanics except for Gajeel. He just finished the quest just in time for our run and he was able to join us on this attempt. Just like the usual we prepared our gears with which most of our equipments are leaning towards MVP killing. Though personally I'm also carrying some PVM gears because clearing the area near the instance NPC is a pain to handle. Literally mobs are occupying the area as if they are guarding the entrance to the instance.
As we clear our way to the instance NPC, we spent almost half an hour and some of our supplies. So the next time we run we must also consider bringing extra supplies for the mob clearing operation. We immediately start the instance dungeon upon arriving at the NPC area. As soon as the dungeon opened for us we went inside the dungeon. The first three rooms are easy to clear because we have a very offensive team. It only took us a few minutes to clear everything and reached the MVP room.
MVP Room:
MVP Generated: Sniper Cecile
Upon entering the MVP room we performed our personal and party buffs first before scouting for the MVP. The room is just small so scouting the area will only take a few seconds. Our Royal was the first to move around while we are slowly following his lead.
The generated mobs then flocked on our tank and it seems that we have generated a transcendent 2-1 MVP. At first we have a hard time figuring out who is the MVP and who are the mobs because biolabs monsters are designed in a way that the MVP can disguise as a mob. So what we did is to observe who is summoning the mobs. And who among those mobs are receiving most of the buffs.
Our Royal Guard and Rune Knight keep on diving into the flock but we cannot get the info on who is summoning the mobs. I also dive into the battle and end up lying down the floor and started observing. After sometime we were able to identify that Sniper Cecil as our generated MVP.
We tried the tank and hit the MVP tactics but it is not working. Our tank with full buffs and inspiration buff falls easily because of the powerful spells being inflicted even by the mobs.We have hard hitting mobs combined with hard hitting magic specifically the Water Ball from the High Wizard. Also the set up of the MVP is very much in favor to the MVP because all the mobs flock our tank and the MVP is on a great distance thanks to its long range advantage..
I already gave up on the MVP because we have a limited members for the battle. I tried diving into the Sniper Cecil for a quick picture and died instantly. However our Royal Guard seems to haven't given up yet. With full buffs he tried diving too and to my surprise he was able to attract all the mobs leaving the Sniper vulnerable at my end. I wasted no time and resurrect myself. With all my effort and excitement for revenge, I have thrown a couple of Acid bomb on the MVP. But alas, when our Royal Guard went down I also went down.
Then we decided to quit the battle so as not to waste more supplies in the process. Better luck next time for us and maybe better team.
Comments:
This is our first encounter with the Transcendent 2-1 MVP and it is unfortunate that we cannot do anything about it. We call these MVPs as bio family and they wreck havok even in Bossnia Dungeon. I'm not really sure if we can also incorporate a plan on taking these MVPs because we need a devotion Royal Guard and a steel body Sura for this.
Our current team is only prepared to face the transcendent 2-2 MVPs so we struggled a lot on this run. Maybe we can incorporate a larger party that can cover both transcendent 2-1 and 2-2 MVPs so that we will have a higher chance of taking down the generated MVP. The challenge of the dungeon really lies on the MVP generated for the team.
