Overview:
Bossnia is a boss all you want dungeon where people can take advantage the endless spawn of MVP monsters. In pRO, the dungeon became a semi regular event with which when implemented it will be enjoyed for a week. But that's not what pRO players anticipate on this event. Adventurers are looking forward for this event because of Power Leveling!
Power Leveling is getting huge experience in a short span of time. So how do people power level in Bossnia? Well the answer is Ifrit. Most pRO players knows how Ifrit changed their leveling lives. For those who didn't have the idea yet, Ifrit in Bossnia is Instant Spawn, Spawns on a fixed area and carries a huge experience.
The idea of getting experience from this set up is to use mob of people attacking Ifrit. With lots of people ganging up on Ifrit it will be down in less than a minute. Sometimes in less than 5 seconds. Since he's instant spawn, we can repeat the collective attack over and over and over. The most important thing on this set up is that people who attacks Ifrit will all share a nice chunk of experience more than doing it on regular maps.
At first this was seen as abused by players so they released a Bossnia version with a Twist. The twist during that time is they changed the Ifrit's instant spawn to a longer spawn time. In effect people didn't patronize the event. Succeeding Bossnia, the GMs released the original version so I guess this confirms that they are allowing us to abuse this further. Latest release of the dungeon even had 4 Ifrit Spawns. And surely there will be more twists in the future.
Party Setup:
A power leveling party in bossnia is composed of a leecher and everyone else is a leechee.
Leecher
Basically the only viable leecher on Bossnia is a Genetic with a max out Acid Bomb. Acid Bomb is the most important skill which is used to attack Ifrit.
Leechee
Leechee's role is to survive as they wait for the experience to freely flow to them. If the leechee is a support player then they can assist the Leecher. Some of the assist that I could think of is Archbishop's buffs like Secrament, Blessing and Magnificat, Minstrel's Bragi's Poem and Royal Guard's Devotion.
Specific Items to equip:
As a Leecher wear your usual MVP gears and items that will boost Acid Bomb damage.
As a Leechee wear defensive gears and experience increasing gears. If you have plenty of ROK points you can purchase Neutral Rings at the Hypermart. It is an accessory that increases experience by 15%. Wearing 2 of these accessories will boost your experience to 30%. Another item that I could think of though it is a rare Iron Fist Card. The card will let you receive 10% more Experience Points from Neutral monsters but you'll receive 20% more damge from Neutral monsters. Ofcourse this experience boost must be on top of a premium service.
Important Consumables to bring:
Token of Zeigfried is an important item to bring. It is an item that will let you Resurrect yourself without relying on others. Other resurrection options would be using Holy Egg which can only be made during Easter Patch. Minstrel's At dead Hill skill is no longer enabled so it's not an option anymore.
Field Manual preferrably Battle Manual and Job Manual is a must. These consumables are your main experience increasing option. But if you don't have the funds at least have an Advance Field Manual.
And of coarse Bossnia Ticket. Everyone is required to purchase this at the hypermart inorder to enter the dungeon.
Something to Watch for:
Lurers are the number one people to watch for. They are the number one cause of creating chaos on Ifrit's spot by bringing in powerful MVPs like the Bio family, Beelzebub and Gloomy Undernight.
When a Bio family wrecks the area, Try to lure it out or force them to teleport using rude attack. When this monsters are not forced to teleport or lured out. It will surely ruin your power leveling.
Comment:
As of now Bossnia is the only map we have for fast leveling. Next would be Endless Tower using Purification Stone. The rest of the maps are all slow experience gain. I'm happy that pRO is giving us the option to gain more experience. The community interaction is also a bonus because at these times you can see many people working together for a common goal.

ReplyDeletemaster RKH may I ask for a good basic MVP equips (cost friendly if possible).... just so hard to level specially if you got no large cash on hand for power leveling... thanks in advance
ReplyDeleteYou only need a good weapon. The basic weapon would be a +9 Abysmal Knight carded Hurricane Fury. Usually you also need a phen effect equip like phen carded accessory or orleans gown. The other equips are personal choice.
