Malangdo Expedition

Malangdo Island is the land of the Cats. It is said that these cats are traders who had their ship wrecked on the island. As time pass by they settled on the island and became traders to Rune Midgard. And now adventurers can access the island and enrich their trades with them.

Patch Notes: August 28, 2013

Patchnotes are in and there areno special event this week.

Regular promos are still here like Bossnia, Lotti Girl, Rock Paper Scissor, Lucky Scrolls and others. King Poring has ended and hopefully you have gathered enough coins to get the costume with stats.

More headgears are released though in my opinion none of these gears does not have a good stat or a cute factor against its price. I'm not sure if people would actually buy them.

Card Exchanger

Overview:
Cards is one of the core features of Ragnarok Online. These items gives a significant boost to players equipment when compounded. Each of these cards corresponds to an existing monster in-game though not all monsters have their own cards yet. The release of the card exchanger will somehow change how we treat our cards.

Finally I have time to post a timely patchnotes!

What I'm excited about this weeks patch is the introduction of creating costume headgears from old school headgears. How cool is that? We can now wear our favorite headgear without sacrificing our heavily invested stat based headgears. We can both have a good looking headgear behind a strong headgear. I hope you got my point. For these week Spiky Band and Romantic Flower has been released. They will be joining the other released headgears such as Boys Cap, Baphomet Horns and Bunny Band. Maybe in the future more old school headgears will be released.

We don't have special events for this week but the Siege series event and King Poring is still on our servers. The costume headgear from King Poring is worth it because it also gives a stat boost.

Mainstay events like Bossnia, Lotti Girl, Rock Paper and Scissor, Lucky Scrolls and others are still there. I think both PVM and GVG players will be busy this week. I think that's all I can say this week. Read the rest of the patchnotes after the break ~

Lucky Gurl

Lucky Gurl is a gambling NPC with a similar mechanics with Lotti Girl. She has her own set of high end items being given away.However not everyone can access Lucky Gurl for an endless gambling.

Hazy Forest - 1st Attempt

Overview:
Bifrost patch opens up another region in the New World called Mora. Mora is the native town of the Laphine tribe that protects the Yggdrassil Tree. It is located above the Splendid Town. In order to go through Mora, adventurers must first find its way out on the Hazy Forest.

Upgrading Ores

Overview:
Upgrading has been a core feature of Ragnarok Online. It is the process of adding more ATK and MATK on weapons and adding more DEF on armors depending on the upgrade level. All weapons and armors can under go this process unless specified on the item description. Godly items are notably cannot be upgraded.
